on second thought, it could be usefull to log how much material each hauler picked up. but we would need to have the source of each item logged to diferentiate which lines are miners, and which are haulers. or more specificaly, to know which lines are actualy new loot coming from something, and which are just loot changing hands in jet cans / ext... -We So SeXy |

One option for the habitual loot-tossers and mining fleets is to record both the amount of stuff "looted" as well as "disgorged".
Thus you pick up a "Damage Control II", then jettison the item, then pick it up again: you will have "+2 -1" on the loot list.
If you mine 1.5M units of Veldspar which have all been dumped into the corporate hangar on an Orca, you'll be listed as "+1.5M -1.5M" and the Orca pilot will be listed as "+1.5M -1.5M", etc. The miners who mine the most will have the largest positive number, as will the haulers who haul the most. The Orca will serve as a handy "mining op net value" role (as long as the hauler pilots aren't playing silly buggers, moving the one load of ore back and forth from cargo hold to corporate hangar).
After a six hour operation, you could see in plain numbers that the guy in the Hulk who consumed thirteen T2 mining crystals only mined twice as much as the guy in the Covetor with Strip Miner Is fitted. Or that the guy in the Malediction looted a surprisingly large number of T2 armour hardeners, while the guy in the Drake is obviously a salvaging fiend.

Originally by: Dansel Could we please get an option to only display Logistical calls or target calls. It's very annoying having to sort through tons of target calls when trying to rep one, and the other way around when looking for the primary.
Setting what broadcasts you receive has been an option in the broadcast settings for a long time now on TQ, and it's still in the new 'Fleet Finder' / fleet window on SISI. If you are a shield logi for instance you can turn off everythign but need shield, and say 'travel to'
For those talking about shortcuts, The only shortcuts for broadcasts that was missing were those directly related to a physical target outside your fleet. In position, need -> backup, capacitor, armor, shield, hold position, jump beacon, were all there. These are setup via the 'esc' menu, shortcuts tab.
I see on sisi in said menu a new one (as asked about back on page 4, and MUCH needed thank you ccp) a 'broadcast: Target (selected)'
This will be epic for any fc.

Edited by: Fridge Chesthair on 17/11/2009 23:48:56 The EVE voice broadcast information seems lacking on the base fleet tab.
I wish there was a way to take the voice broadcast history tab and break it out into a new window. I was in a test fleet of 80+, and it became very difficult to keep track of who said what.
If I remember correctly, general Fleet tab has space at the bottom for one voice broadcast indicator. It only lists the character's name (as far as I can remember).
If the staff wants players to adopt EVE voice in greater numbers' can I make a few suggestions.
1 - Allow players to separate the voice broadcast HISTORY tab as a second window. Keeping track of who said what during fast paced conversations shouldn't require switching the window from its most useful orientation to a history specific one.
2 - Allow extra room at the bottom of the general window to list multiple speakers. Most users lack the courtesy to not talk over other fleet members. With space to display one character, identifying all but the most recent of active speakers becomes extremely tough.
3 - Add some indication of what position the speaker has in the fleet. Again many users lack the courtesy to limit their voice broadcasts to the appropriate channel. Random broadcasts from wing members not in your squad can become extremely annoying, especially if they are talking over a squad commander they cannot hear. (can I suggest color coordinating squad vs. wing vs. fleet members. And making respective commanders in BOLD letters)
Please consider improving the EVE voice portion of the fleet window. Most of the conversations here seem to ignore it outright, yet EVE voice should be a major portion of the fleet window.

Could you give us the option to save multiple versions of the broadcasts settings, somewhat like with the overview tabs. That would allow for fast switching between logistical and military calls. And by the way, they should really separate sigs from the main post. |

IÆm wondering, would it be possible to apply Corp management roles and policies to the fleets and the fleet finder.
For example, have the ability for a CEO/ Executor of a Corperation/Alliance (or even just have a grantable role in the corp management window) to allow them to forcibly join a fleet (if there is a standings restriction in place) and be able to revoke the fleet boss from the assigned FC only if the fleet is for the Corp/alliance?
This might be controversial idea, but it will allow CEOÆs and EXEÆs to be able to salvage fleet situations if a situation arises. This will allow the people to salvage fleets already in process instead of remaking a new fleet and asking people to drop the current fleet and join the new one.
Thanks, Zen

Fleet finder still has the same god damn problem mentioned on test server. allowing corp and blue to join the same fleet. There is no reason that you should have to set your corp ****in blue so they can join your fleets. And how are neuts supposed to join if needed. This is garbage, still. no easy way to link fleets either have to search your own fleet and then link. why not leave the ability to post in channels.

It would be really great if rolled up (by doubleclicking) fleet would display last boardcast - just like the old broadcast window did, or it had the ability to undock the broadcast part of fleet interface.

Old broadcast window as separate window was much better. New is cumbersome

The new broadcast system is just overly clumsy in its current implementation. Unable to seperate the broadcast history pane, unable to seperate the broadcast buttons (I do hope CCP realises that quite often in lag hotkeys use tends to go belly up pretty quickly), unable to properly integrate a detachable broadcast history pane into player UI positioning, etc.
It isn't practical at all. Not in the least. Please let us detach at least the broadcast history pane and broadcast buttons. |

Not sure if this has been suggested before.
Customisable info text to be displayed to every player who joins fleet in the fleet chat window. This will help minimize redundant work such as repeating vent details, rally point, ship types etc.

Excuse me if this question has been asked before, I don't read these forums much.
Is there no other way then manual inviting to keep a fleet completely hidden anymore? Hiding fleet numbers alone doesn't cut it in my case, when a spy checks the fleet finder, I don't want a fleet from the character 'Shikubi' to show up at all, but I do want to be able to invite people by fleet links, like in the old system.
Right now I have to manually invite everyone and it's a lot more annoying then pre-patch. Am I missing something here, or can you reintroduce the option to use fleet links if the fleet has no advert in the fleet finder?
