This is a statement on the Fountain Alliance and Coalition of Free stars conflict.
The United Free Stars took the Fountain Alliance Stations due to the Fountain Alliances inability to uphold treaty agreements.Fountain Alliance did not defend the stations that it had under its control at the time and UFS forces were needed to defend constantly against Pirate incursions in our space. We therefore decided that it will be neccesary to take these stations into our direct control.
Fountain Alliance has now invaded our space to cover up there own treaty voilations and offered a peace that will not stand. They believe that can they control our space yet have left there own undefended in there greed.
They claim to be allies of The Querious Defense Forces but have them. Defending there newest acquisitions since Fountain is obviously unable to
do there own defending they need to have someone else do it for them. As with UFS in the past.
Fountain Alliance representative has been ridculing Curse Alliance members for voiceing there own opinions on this war. Is everyone not entitled to there own opinion. It is a shame you think that there
opinions do not count because we believe everyones opinions count no matter how they differ.
I would also like to ask that all non-combatants or neutral parties stay out of the Period Basis, Delve and Querious Regions until hostilities in these Regions are over. There have been many incidents where The Fountain Alliance has fired on neutral corps as they have left the area after being asked by Querious Defense Forces and United Free Stars forces. United Free Stars does not accept responsibilty for Fountain Alliance actions but does apologize and offer condolences to the corps in question. Unfortunately UFS is not currently able to prevent FA attacks on neutral shipping in UFS space.

Obviously CFS lost their PVP- and PR crew. Couldn't you come up with anything better? I mean, is this really the last line of defence you could muster?

Indeed, people are entitled to their own opinion. In the opinion of CFS/DSMA/StA, Fountain was not contributing the members needed to defend the stations/regions. However, do not confuse opinion and fact. The fact remains, that there was a treaty, signed by all parties, stating that discussion of station ownership would not take place for another 5 months. By not abiding by the terms stated within this accord, *you* are the ones that have broken the treaty. Opinion vs. Fact.
As well, there has been a very powerful response from corps interested in accepting the terms set forth by the Fountain Alliance, despite your opinion of an unviable peace. QDF *and* FA forces have worked together in common gangs and fleets during this conflict (I myself spending nearly a week straight in the T8H area).
Finally, to claim that by sending 4-5 ships into the Fountain region (forces that were engaged and destroyed, to the best of my knowledge) and say that we are not defending our own territory is, to put it conservatively, untrue and innacurate. For you to attempt to create dissention between FA and QDF forces is both unjustified as well as showing clear signs of desparation.

u forgot to mention (probably just by mistake *cough*) that there have been as many incidents where cfs shoot at neutrals...at least few days ago when u still had ships with more than 2 hislots

On the otherhand are you guys that desperate ? CA and FA have been ridiculing each other since these boards exist, so i doubt CA would give a damn if its the same over this conflict..
Anything else in your statement is old news tbh, been written over and over in almost 50% of the threads in the last week.
I do wonder however how you guys can actually do so little ingame but be so active on these forums. Lots of smoke but no fire ?

not missing the paragraph where its stated that incase of disagreements diplomats get 48h time to solve any imminent issues without violence ?
Instantly shooting and taking the stations sounds like a clear violation of one of the most important paragraphs of that paper.... (especially since this part states in detail what or why while "defence of the entire area" is a freely measureable subject. i.e. how often do you need to defend, must you send a huge fleet against every ceptor 'invading' a2 etc etc)
Plus whoever fires the first shots, in any conflict, is guilty for starting it or care to name me one conflict where the side applying violence was "right" in human and game history ?
