Hi there i got my rupture yesterday and i was looking 4 a good setup 4 it using it 4 npc hunting.plus could i have a pvp setup any help would be great thx

Frigate Hunting PvP setup
High : 1 x Assault launcher, 1 x medium nos, 4 x 250mm or 280mm artillery Mid : 1 x 100MN AB, 1 x 10MN MWD, 1 x 20km scrambler Low : 5 x CPR
Or High : 1 x assault launcher, 1 x small nos, 4 x 250mm or 280mm artillery Mid : 2 x 100MN AB, 1 x 20km scrambler Low : 2 x RCU, 2 x PDU , 1 x CPR
With the right skills you have enough powergrid to play with the High slots a little bit. Combinations of Assault, std, heavy launchers, small or medium nos and small artillery can be chosen to suit.
Not sure if either of these setups will last past 17th Nov though.
If it moves kill it. If it doesn't move, kill it. It might move later. |

I use the following setup on my rupture for lvl 3 agent missions: 3x 720mm Scout Howitzers 3x Limos Heavy missile launchers (usually loaded with widowmakers) ---- medium C5-L Shield Booster 10mm named MWD 18% Eluctic Cap Recharger ---- gyrostabilizer II Power Diagnostic II Reactor Control II waveform signal amplifier I Cap Relay I ---- With Depleted Uranium ammo loaded in the howitzers, my killing range is 40-50km. This keeps me out of range of pretty much every cruiser I fight, so my limited defenses are adequate. I usually fight Sansha or Blood Angels and the closest to a tough fight would be the 2 underlord spawns since they can fire out to around 40km range, but do not hit for enough to get thru my shield boosting. This isn't the ideal setup for PvP since I fight at long range and can not warp scramble so I have no way to finish off opponents who want to warp out, but I have forced quite a few pirates in cruisers and even a guy in an armageddon to run for the hills when they tried to engage me. Hope this helps

that is just my npc setup and it works dandy for me
(edit) have done the mordu`s mission with the very same setup, although it was a close thing with me suffering structure damage i did mamage to kill them fast enough to save my hide

This is my idea for a "GankaRupture" or "BlasterRupture".
High: 4-720mm 2 Heavy Launchers
Mid: Maybe a little shield tanking and mid slot tracking module.
Low: 4 Gyrostabilizers 1 Tracking enhancer
I'm going to take this thing out and test it on NPCs today. I think it will do some serious damage. Yeah, there's very little defense, but it follows the same principle as the "Gankageddon". With the bonuses the Rupture gets, it should chew up other ships pretty well.
