Or not. I got a wardec from you today. I didn't grit my teeth. The first thing I thought of was you. Vimsy, you've always had one of the most arrogant attitudes of anyone on these forums. No matter how this war goes, don't expect me to forget this. This will be your undoing in the long run. You may cause a lot of damage to our new players when this war starts tomorrow, but we'll deal with it...and in the long run, when the circumstances are right, I will crush you. Promise.

This is a general message directed to CEOs, diplomatic contacts or alliance executors currently at war with Break-A-Wish foundation if you are recieving this and you are not the appropriate individual to recieve it please forward it to the appropriate authority.
It recently became apparent that one or more of the corporations we are currently at war with has been cooperating with our most recent war targets; Firesworn Nation. Because the specific source of the cooperation was not identified and because, in the absence of a known perpetrator, it is preferable to make sure at least the group he represents is held responsible rather than let the action go unpunished we have chosen to extend all of our current wars for an additional week in response.
We will continue to extend these wars until such a time that we are confident that this cooperation has ceased.

Confirming they do not generally camp trade hubs.
- They use isBoxer or related software when they're feeling desperate. - They love their netural logi and warfare links. - They have easily identifiable scouting alts in their neighboring systems. - They ship out of the same system and only undock when an unsuspecting pilot is seen by their scouting alts. - They have a very obvious pattern of play times and tactics. - They try to bait people using a Condor. It's really cute. - They will not engage a proper fleet; they will dock up anytime they do not feel a sense of extreme superiority. - They reveal their alts by asking for 1v1s or claiming they found you from "an ad in local." - They get really upset and throw a temper-tantrum when their mutual war targets talk to one another. Gasp. - They think so highly of themselves it bleeds through everything they write in this forum topic.

I'd like to know why you think someone is using isBoxer and what you think they are using it for. That post has some horribly factually inaccurate stuff in it but that one threw me through a loop.
Also about this guy:

Please don't misunderstand. I don't begrudge you for killing a few of our pilots. At the end of the day, this is nothing more than a video game. I do take this particular war in general more personally but I will not elaborate as to why here. Do keep in mind, however, that many of our pilots are new to Eve. They've never experienced a war before, so they'll naturally make some mistakes no matter what we say or do...but that's okay. We're not going to get upset with them for making mistakes. We don't judge ourselves by the same yardstick you do.
Your first kill was actually comical and ironic. You killed that same person just last week, in a different Drake. I actually saw that on our KB a few days before you wardecced us and had meant to ask you about it (I was busy at the time and forgot) because I couldn't understand how that person could have ended up in such a situation unless you were baiting them or they were up to no good. My thought at the time was, "Good for Vimsy. Silly pilot should have known better." Prior to this wardec, I had some measure of respect for you. I believe you know this.
As for your specific comments, the post on our site as well as here mentioned we expected to take some losses. I was just giving some bullet points, a general synopsis of what I've witnessed from you thus far and/or been informed of by other competent individuals. I think perhaps you don't realize just how many circles we share. I'm personally confused as to why you think your other war targets are assisting us; it's why I found it comical. Perhaps one or two of the things I said are factually inaccurate, but certainly not the majority. I've confirmed most of them firsthand.
At any rate, you know our objective. I don't really know yours. Time to play some games. \o/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYAz0aWEzpw http://www.firesworn.com/index.php?/topic/69-about-firesworn-nation/

Even more now. I just updated it as you made your post. Xolve, it's a lot of words because I'm an articulate person. Just about everything I write is too many words. Take a look at Firesworn.com and you'll know I speak the truth. What specifically do you think I am mad about? Did I even use the word mad? I'm a fairly complicated person; there are many facets to me, so you really shouldn't try to size me up based on a post or two. And one thing that I can assure you is that I am a man that is true to my word. If I was genuinely upset, I wouldn't hide it. What you just claimed is a very common counter-argument that lacks all substance. You're welcome to hold whatever opinion you want to, but I could say the exact same thing about Vimsy, but since I don't hold that opinion personally, I won't. And the loss of two ships from two newb pilots: come on, seriously? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYAz0aWEzpw http://www.firesworn.com/index.php?/topic/69-about-firesworn-nation/

This brings back memories. I was like this once, but it was in a different MMO, long past it's prime. "Save the children-er...noobs!" Went on my own Defender-of-the-Innocent spree myself. I was terrible, died horribly, and killed nothing.

I wondered where you've been. I've had the flu this weekend. I was writing from my tablet last night, just passing time until I fell asleep. I wasn't really trying to antagonize you. The "bump" was meant in jest (seemed like Xolve got that), but then Vimsy asked me a question, so I just tried to answer it constructively, right before passing out. I'm not expecting this war to end quickly, so I'm sure you'll have a chance to touch me when you get back.

See, now this just makes me sad, because I kind of liked you. :(
It's a common misconception that our corp names have anything to do with me; I have an affinity for fire (it has spiritual connotations and symbolism) and I named my first corp Fire Inc. Others came up with Firesworn so we changed them, but it is not about me personally. Everything else is for organizational reasons and game mechanics.
You seem really angry, and you're taking Eve far too seriously. Loathing people for playing a video game seems rather dramatic. This conversation has nowhere to go but down if you can't speak like an adult so if you want to reply with any further insults or baits, then make them really good so you can have the last word and feel special.
Tah'ris Khlador wrote:I will give you one piece of intel to correct the inaccuracy on your webpage: We haven't been based out of Arnon for roughly 6 months.
I didn't say you were based out of Arnon, but you seem to love that place.

You're an impotent blowhard. You keep making grandiose claims, but you never actually do anything.
Vimsy, I was just about to say something nice to you and then you went and added that last line. I'll say it anyway: I think you're pretty cool, and you're going to be fun to play with. I collect corpses (a bit morbid...?) and collecting them from my own guys might make for a fun collection so I hope you really do!
Maybe I'll make a space memorial out of them.
If you're expecting us to respond according to your time table, though, you're going to be disappointed. I have some real life obligations that are interfering with my ability to play right now. That said, there are plans in the works. If you have that much of a hard-on for me though, you're welcome to extend your war, which I believe you've already implied you're going to do anyway.
Also, just to be clear, you're all very competent fighters. I would never pretend otherwise. I realize I can come across abrasively and arrogant; it's a character flaw. The same can be said of you though which is probably why I like you so much. Grandiose is probably accurate, though I'd go with challenging personally. Eve is more fun when you have a goal that is difficult to achieve. I never said it would be easy, and it certainly won't happen instantly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYAz0aWEzpw http://www.firesworn.com/index.php?/topic/69-about-firesworn-nation/

To me that right there is what I think on of the things Vimsy is talking about.
I have no doubt, like me he/she hears that from just about every target that publicly threatens me or her.
If I had a dollar for every time a target told me they are going to kill me only to assure me they are to busy with real life but there is a plan in the works. I would be able to put plenty of college girls through school right now. I am sure it is no different for Vimsy. "I saw him fight by the monument in Jita. -áHe flowed in his Machariel like a Shinto spirit, 800MM shells sprouting in his passing. -áHis hair flowed in the corona of his target's warp core breach. -áIt was truly majestic. -áAnd while everyone stared in awe I stole the loot and ran off.-áBecause I am like that." --áNEONOVUS |

You both make fair points. I'm not trying to have a really long dialogue here in a thread about merc services though. Fire isn't my strongest PvP character, so I don't fight with him as much as others. I run a business IRL and I am behind schedule on a project (getting the stomach flu didn't help). I spend a lot of time in front of a computer, so it's not much effort for me to write on a forum. You can call them excuses if you want and I'd understand. Actions will always speak louder than words. I never said I'd kill Vimsy. I'm not sure if we can. We'll certainly try. I do know we can keep them occupied, which will make it more difficult for them to continue offering their services. That will be our objective; whether we kill them or not doesn't really matter. I'll now try to leave this thread as gracefully as I can and let our actions speak for themselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYAz0aWEzpw http://www.firesworn.com/index.php?/topic/69-about-firesworn-nation/
