people whining about 0.0 not beeing perfectly safe while calling the attackers carebears.
Awesome.
here a little hint since i don't wanna be mean:
1. bring 1-2 mining ships
2. bring a bs or bc to "guard" the mining ship
3. park a few friendly recons cloaked
4. wait and laugh when cloakers attack

yeah sure you need at least 5 people to defend yourself against a single afk cloaker.
i tiold you waht dto do against a gang. If a single afk cloaker locks down you home system you guys won't have that system for long anyways.

while you are cloaked in the reds system your space and posses can be lost aswell.
Hell ccp even BUFFED cloaked warefare by introducing blackops and giving bombers the ability to warp cloaked. How can u think it's the way it's intended to be?

it takes a gazillion hours of running lev 4s or ratting/plexing to faction/officer fit a marauder and still 5 bums in a raven can suicide it in 1.0.
If you only want people who leveled and played as much as you to have a chance to kick your ass:

Well the funny thing is. I once also was an ebil afk cloaker(tm).
back in the day we went to rise territory with a roaming gang. the gang got toasted and i was left alone in the rise home system with the old stealth bomber.
My fit was cruise missiles, 2 damps (the old ones), a web (the old one). Wll first of all it's really not awesome to sit in a system, trapped with all your buddies roaming around and making iskies. Well i soon found it to be fun though.
Stealth bombers sucked at a large margin and i could not hurt anything. Well still the were very very ****ed that i was in their system although i posed no threat at all.
Wenn i saw a frigate i decloaked and the frigate burned for me to kill the evil cloaker. i damped it, the got into web range and +1 kill for me. Funny enough the only reason i got kills at all was those guys brain****ing themselves.
Still it was borin as hell since all i could do was sit and wait. It really sucks when u lock into eve 3 days in a row and can't do **** because there are hacs patrolling but yaaaaay i'm invincible.

No, this statement has been proven false. an AFK docked up ship has very little in common with an AFK cloaker. Highlights include risks of assets, effort put in, status said person in system (i.e. hostile or friendly), vulnerability.
this is bull****. The risk of assets has nothing to do with the person in the sattion beeing afk or not. The assets are at risk whether the person is logged off or afk so besides laziness the only reason to be afk docked is to show numbers and to pretend their might be a big force to strike at any time. These are the same reasons why the afk cloaker does not log off (besides laziness)
Edit:
There are numerous examples in eve where some ****head with minimal effort destroyes a crapton of effort and guess what: it is ****in intended! You want examples?
- Corp theft
- Contract and market scams
- suicide ganks
- a squad of bombers vs 30 sniper bs waiting in a safe
- instapopping a hauler
- popping a shuttle transporting a t2 bpo
and so on. And pleaso stop with this "nothing you can do" crap.
All you need is 2 hacs at a time patrolling (hell the hacs can even rat while they are doing that) and a mndatory fleeting the hacs when ratting.
Render the cloaker totally useless for a few days and you won't see him again. The reason you have a problem with cloakers that do more than gather intel is that you are a fail alliance and people can heavily dirupt your 0.0 life by guerillia tactics
