it should come as no surprise that after losing the most caps in one battle in the history of the game, bobbits have a variety of strong and vehement rationalizations taking up 8 pages
don't argue with them about it, just shrug and laugh vOv
I wonder who is rationalising here when there are 38 Posts by Goons/PL/CH/SOT vs 18 by everybody else!!

If you need to explain everyone over and over why it was such a devastating blow, it can't be that bad really, can it?
If it would be such a big deal, no explanations at all would be necessary. Just sayin'....

Wow. First we have Darius' epic nerd tantrum (fortunately that thread is now locked). Now we have mitanni's increasingly dull contributions to caod and flailing attempts to get people to read his soon to be axed tenton blog.
I guess Mari Kage or whatever they're called really are the most chill posters.

Goons posting is a lame attempt to conceal the obvious... IT has facerapyed most if not, all, of PL, SOT etc etc etc r64 moons in low sec. It really is embarrassing when you think about it. IT's moon campaign can be classified as nothing but wildly successful.
This last battle was quit clearly a last gasp coordinated effort to stop the bleeding and make a stand. All of the Goon allies coordinated an intelligent and vigorous defense. They killed alot of cap ships. Lost of few of their own. Yet they STILL lost another moon.
The grim reality is that even with the combined might of PL, Goons and the NC they cannot stop IT from achieving strategic objectives. null

You're thinking of a dead alliance called BoB who used to live there. How it worked out is that BoB lost that space for various reasons.

Edited by: Azarie on 24/11/2009 12:49:33 How is losing a bunch of ships that are worth next to nothing after insurance pays off is more important than losing moons that WILL still be very much valued after Dominion, is beyond me...
edit: nevermind that the objective of the fight it would seem was centered around the moon attack / defense, so judging who won by the amount of ships killed / lost makes even less sense.
