Team Liquid Declares War Against Ivy League

Team Liquid has declared war on Ivy League.
Within 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved. For your convenience we have included the appropriate CONCORD War Rules:

The weekly cost is 293,963,016.89 ISK and you will receive a bill which needs to be paid promptly to maintain the war. If the bill is not paid before it is due then the war will be cancelled. If the war is cancelled then do not pay any outstanding bills for that war.

When an active war has been cancelled, there is a 24 hour grace period during which you can still be legally attacked.

If you are at war with a corporation that joins an alliance then the war will change from being against the corporation to being against the alliance.

If you are at war with an alliance and a corporation leaves that alliance then you will still be at war with the alliance but also temporarily at war with the corporation that left. The war against the corporation that leaves an alliance lasts 24 hours during this period you can attack them until the war expires.

Should you wish to resume hostilities against such a corporation then you need to declare war again.

Maybe I misunderstand something here.

I heard good things about eve uni and what they do, but what you describe sounds to me as if they went to lowsec and roughed up some pirates, and now these pirates declared war against the uni. I really don't see why you'd use the attribute "unfair" referring to such a war so often.

I also don't see how you can say you are a third party and not related to Eve University in anyway, when you state yourself you were flying with them:

Or you are a hypocrite gloating about successes in battles you started, before complaining about the wars that came as consequence.

Prior to this the Uni was being fail-decced every week by small corps that wanted to grief, which shuts down a lot of non-PvP activities in the Uni; so to counter this the Uni raised their "dec-shield" which resulted in only corporations who could actually fight them being able to wardec the Uni.

This also allowed the Uni to offer a low-sec living experience in the form of their LSC which was a great thing because before this the Uni's only form of PvP was roams. Unfortunately due to the new system whereever their LSC goes, corporations in the area are wardeccing them permanently which is shutting down operations in the Uni.

So basically, due to the new wardec system the Uni may end up having to completely pull their low-sec living program because the permanent wardecs are derailing the other learning aspects they offer.

How does not having your LSC prevent you from getting wardecced? Any corp that has enough funding can still dec you regardless of your "LSC", high sec ops, or 0.0. And dec shield was terrible. Don't even try and suggest it was a better system.
