If the pirates wanted small gang pvp they should have gone about it diplomatically. Afaik, some diplomacy was attempted before the war but I'm not sure what went wrong.

The main reason RANSM was using sniping and kiting tactics is because there is no other way to fight the 40 man gatecamps and blobs you ALREADY had before the dec. Gateguns would completely annihilate any small ships that we enjoy using. Additionally most of our members were being inactive due to Diablo3 and DayZ (lol). Combine all of that and the field of valid tactics that we could use without 100% losing all our ships is quite narrow.

If you read all my posts in this thread you'll see that NONE of my posts are claiming 'lol, unfair' at this whole situation. My posts are all about 3 things:
1) The completely alienation between EUni and the local pirate corps
2) The way EUni approached this presents no quality teaching opportunity for EUni pilots themselves, and how I think they can approach this differently
3) The 'lol' factor when I watch what EUni does in response to targets

You make it sound that at the secret pirate meeting at top belt in amamake we all decided to dec eve uni.

What actually happened is people noticed eve uni being a bunch of cocks, and people started wardeccing them.

It's a lose-lose situation for the corps down there.

If they don't dec the Uni they have to deal with going GCC, but they may get more reasonable numbers to fight against. If they do dec the Uni they don't have to deal with going GCC, but that means the rest of the Uni is now coming down to hunt war targets.

So it becomes a question of which is worse, going GCC or having even larger Uni fleets?

2.) We did show our skill in adapting to the blob and ecm when we took 5 guys into heild and ass ****** the **** out of euni's 70 man gangs. Then we decided to wipe our ass a little more and war dec'd a 2500 man alliance that has a tradition of blobbing the **** out of there war targets (we knew what would happen before we did it).

3.) Yes we have some pretty cool bloggers and slightly rp fluent corp members and friends. Just gos to show that there is a very large and diverse community here.

4.) yah it's eve they are not playing it our way. As we are not playing it there way, our 37 man corp (lol) will not roll over and play dead for the 2500 man alliance.

So what I want to know is this. Dos eve uni want to be associated with the CFC? From what kelduum is saying, they not only want to be a part of the CFC but they want the CFC to follow the euni way. While this dos make sense to me as the Goons, TEST and EUNI have the same concept when it comes to pvp style. I do wonder what the rest of high sec thinks of this? What with the biggest high sec training alliance admitting to bigger plans to bring the CFC and by extension the goons into the Uni. I don't think I need to remind anyone what the goal of Goons/CFC is here, do really think it's best they use Euni as a feeder alliance?

How dos the average Euni pilot feel about being fed propaganda from there teachers on how great the CFC is?

I'd also like to call out Maraner6 (think thats how you spell your toon name) you told every euni you were moving to heild. You asked for a few to follow you. They all came with you, now you sit in station while the fights happen or warp in late. Also would like to inform you that your application to join Gunpoint Diplomacy has been turned down sorry mate.

Edit: Also how dos this effect the traditional eve uni backers. Do they already know that they by supporting euni are in fact supporting the CFC as well?
