Ever thought about stealing the (in my opinion very good) idea of Blizzard of releasing major patches with a pre-download system? So that on the patchday itself only the last changes have to be downloaded, since the majority of the content doesn't change during the last days before deployment anyway. Safes a lot of server peak capacity.

Takes time to recode the launcher to do that. Blizzard has a bigger team and a lot more money to play with.

Signature - CCP what this game needs is more variance in PVE aspects and a little bit less PVP focus, more content more varied level 1-4 missions more than just 10 per faction high sec low sec and 00 |

Oh Hark the joys of downloading this crap upgrade with a sat-link. go my 12kps link.. CCP you have a nerve posting a 500meg download.. should do this in increments over a period in the background to avoid me having to download now for 2 days

I don't see why people are expecting TQ to be up after downloading the patch this early, CCP said 9:00GMT and I think they'll be sticking to it.

^^ For the exploring type of player, that plays on both SiSi and TQ, the build 117956 has been available for download via the SiSi link for the past day or so :p complete with TQ settings and everything \o/ Wish i woulda downloaded that earlier :p
