ROF doesnt matter then its somewhere around 30 s . if yo plan it right you can alpha ships with concord sitting right next to them because its only the first shot that counts, you get slightly less DPS witht the tempest, but much better alpha also, use hail if tracking isnt an issue. or domination(better alpha than RF)

Yes Because of course people that can't pilot a Tempest with Matari BS V can obviously use a Maelstrom with Lev 5 stats. Some gankers want to keep the cost right down, some are willing to pay a bit more to ensure the job is done, or on harder jobs. You sir fail at economics and maths, pls go back to mining
