If you haven't read them yet, please do. I guess that as usual, I have to spell it out to my fellow "genius" "high I.Q." totally intellectual" players (as they so label themselves) Somehow you all master minded that people leave this game because their stupid! Why can't it be because that the hundreds of thousands who tried this game, figured out as I did, that due to some of the in game play that gets you no where fast, is as noted, REDICULOUS! and BOREING, FRUSTRATING and REDUNDANT. Yeah, mining for months isn't redundant? People leave this game because they CLEARLY don't want to waste their valuable time, and hard earned cash. The only real answer I consider valid is as stated buy eve's membership gamers. "Oh, I destroyed all you worked for "Because I can, or "Because ccp lets me get away with it" Yeah, that's some intellect! What a joke! Doesn't ccp have a board of directors, and share holders to answer too? And if so, wouldn't those parties like to make more money? Well the only way to do that is to get more membership! The only way to get new membership is to make the game a little more pleasant to play, and less discouraging. Does ccp believe that a little over 300000 players is a large population in the mmo world. EVEN THOSE NUMBERS ARE WAY OFF, BECAUSE AS YOU PLAYERS ADMIT, MYSELF INCLUDED, WE ALL HAVE ALT ACCOUNTS! (I have 3 accounts) ) And it took over five years to get to that subscription rate! Yeah, it's growing at a very SLOW rate because there is, in fact, flaws and in game problems! THAT'S WHY CCP HAS A HIGH DROPOUT RATE, and not because other people are stupid! Yeah, the hundreds of thousands that quit this game is because, as it's PLAYERS state (Not ccp mind you) that they (the players) have a "high I.Q. (LMFAO) CCP, why don't you go over those numbers, The drop out rate ratio compared your current players? CCP do a SURVEY! Ask what we CCP can do to keep players! The problem is, that some of the ccp staff had actually read my other two posts threads and have HURT FEELINGS as well as thinks small and caters to, and lets these anti social ** skin heads who over run these forums, and that ccp makes decisions based on what they have read. CCP, have some business smarts, think big, make money, conduct a survey of what ALL of your players want! not just these morons! Take a toll, take a vote! Ask the drop outs what did we, CCP do wrong to have those players quit, (you know my answers) and what can ccp do to make this game, less confusing, less frustrating, and MORE INTERESTING! I believe if ccp would ASK why people are ACTUALLY dropping out of eve online, and address those concerns of the dropouts, they (ccp) will be much more successful in the mmo world. I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THIS ISN'T TAKING PLACE IN A BUSINESS CORPERATION. for us (the players) this is a game, for ccp, it's a business! ccp, critics and competition are good for business, so don't have hurt feelings. It forces some of it's ICO's and management to face facts, understand issues, to make and FORCE changes in a company. So if you have staff that not open minded or willing listen to in game complaints FIRE those individuals, and get more experienced personnel who are better suited and have more experience in mmo gamming! Now, as for you players who are taking out kill contracts on me. I'm so bewildered, I'm so confused that you geniuses, with your high intellectual stimulus and that high I.Q. that is required to play this game, didn't figure out yet that, why is this guy cutting his throat, because, doesn't Tuscun Nebular know that he's signing his death warrant by posting these threads know that he'll never be able to play this game because we'll all be after him? Well let me also spell it out to you morons, It took a month or reasoning, and studying, and the actual game play, as well as game play observation for me to tell that this game will never meet up to my expectations. That's write, I made my decision a month ago to have my membership subscription expire with no intention of renewal. I can find much more BETTER things to do with my $45 a month, than to waste it on you idiots! So, you moronic ** skin heads with that "high I.Q." that's required to play eve online, happy hunting for me, your nothing but a big joke! Oh, by the way, just check out the MMO report of eve online, on g4tv hosted by Casey Schreiner dated September, as well as other gamer reviews on eve online. The game is ONLY considered fare at best! ccp, make some changes so tat players stop leaving!

You have those that will play it and find they don't fit -- too complex for them, too cruel, too mellow, wrong genre, annoyances at game controls, UI, etc... Some mutter about various aspects of the game while others do like you are doing and leave because they are unwilling to tolerate some aspect of the game. So you don't enjoy the game the way it's laid out and played. Welcome to that large group of ex-EVE players but that doesn't negate the pay-to-play enjoyment that many others experience in this game world -- no more so than the rants about WoW negate it's successful draw of a type of customer that enjoys that style of play. Take care and hopefully you may find a "right fit" type of game some time in your future but I'd suggest not throwing hissy-fits when you leave a game. It's just bad form.

I started my first character late in '04, and played him on and off until April '08, then biomassed him because I thought I was leaving the game permanently for RL concerns. Here I am, despite the alleged difficulties of dealing with unsavory people -- and yes, there are plenty that are drawn to EVE's freedom of action -- having started all over again, and I'm still enjoying the game. EVE is wonderful because it allows players to enjoy the game for wildly different reasons, and while the incentives to be naughty are certainly there, EVE does not force anyone to choose one playstyle over another. EVE does not put players into a straitjacket of classes and levels, then tell them what their objectives are; EVE allows players to choose their own victory conditions, as it were.

So once again, why are you still here? I won't speculate on possibilities, but you can't expect them to make the game just for you. You would definitely be better off in the type of game that hands everything to you on a silver platter. Clearly the concept of a sandbox is too much for your uneducated brain, as evidenced by your desire for a game that is 'pleasant to play'. The day EVE becomes anything close to what you want it to be...well, let's just say I'd rather burn my own eyeballs out than see that come to fruition.

There are problems with every game. Period. Chess? Bug-ridden on release, and it was developed in the middle-ages. You know what download speeds were like then? 1 kb/YEAR, if you were on a good node, and had a deal with the friar at the monastery. I sympathize with your wall of text, T.N., but if Eve bothers you that much, just leave. Go with grace, and perhaps a simple 'Well, I tried it, and the gameplay doesn't do it for me, plus the bugs just make the experience frustrating.'
