The fact is that they don't care. A friend of mine and I have been waiting for 3 days after filed petitions about our accounts got disable after purchasing a GTC. No reply of any kind so far.
Just yesterday, another friend of mine submitted a petition to bring back a cancelled account for 1 day so he could apply a PLEX, and GM responded within 10 hrs.
All of us created petitions under Bill & Account\Cancelled & Suspended Account categroy. So it's obvious that they DO NOT CARE about the broken GTC system. At least GMs don't.

Edited by: c3p2 on 03/01/2010 17:52:04 I've 5 accs, 2 of them suspended, I try reactivate both with GTCs. I've bought a 60days GTC for one of my suspended accs and I can not join EVE with this acc :S I hope this will be solved asap.
btw right now I've lost 520m ISK and few unvaluable real life hours with this issue, thank's ccp.

2 accounts of a total 3 broken due to this bug since 2 days now. 1 of em is pretty vital to my game experience and i'm really frustrated about lost money/fun and skillpoints.
Let's keep this topic at the top. Maybe a GM stucks his nose into the forum and sees it...

Why does CCP not have a GM assigned to fix these? It's a simple check with their logs.

I have 2 accounts, both were suspended/inactive. I used that 5 days free promo they had to activate this account. I sold everything i had on this account and bought a 60 d GTC on my other (suspended) account in order to activate that one and return to EVE. Well... that was my plan anyway, but it seems that CCP has other plans :) Now, after more than 36 hours since my 1st petition, still no answer, and i begin to remember why i left EVE in the first place. Being an old player (since 2004) i had quite a few problems that needed assistance from CCP, so i'm kinnda used to this "we don't give a crap about you" customer support policies but i hope that CCP instead of "harden the f*ck up" they better wake the f*ck up, cz when Black Prophecy and JumpGate Evolution will hit the markets, they will lose some serious players. This GTC bug\problem\issue is more that 2 weeks old, more that enough time to fix it, but they just don't care. As long as it doesn't hurts them wallet they don't care about anything. As far as i know the only petitions regarding this GTC problem that got answered and fixed were submitted under different categories, like: gameplay, stuck, can't log in, technical issues, etc. So i think we should file petitions under every category, this way maybe some other GMs will see them and maybe/hopefully fix em. Or we'll get banned and this way we'll know for sure that some GM saw our problem :)
I hate you CCP for ruining this game, for making it more and more dumb proof with every patch in the last 3 years. I hope CCP will see this game again as an adventure, as a fun thing to do and not as the business they see it now and if not... i hope EVE will fail and shut down... and i pray to God for this to happen, not because i don't like EVE, but because i hate CCP.

I lost my hope two of my account was suspended with the gtc bug on 31/12/09 after 3 petitions ( one deleted to make a new one) and some mail..................NO ANSWER..
the 5th day without available to log on no a single reply from gm email or anything else.
My lost atm: one of the skill queue is finish.... lost of isks I(m thinking about 1B now. Lost of my pvp quality and presence. I'm just sitting up here and waiting, while i see some ccp staff reply in forum resolve some other petition but me not a single reply to say work in progress..
I put a -10 to ccp staff for the first time

I bought some time on Steam for a steal (holiday special). When I installed the Steam client and tried to activate my other account, it told me it couldn't (no reason as to why).
I received the 5 days free offer and activated this account with one, and tried to activate my other with the other invite. This one worked, that one still didn't. While online, I bought a GTC (hadn't seen this thread yet). My other account activated for about 30 seconds, then is suspended again. No answer to any of my emails or petitions!
It would appear that my other account is just simply gone!
CCP, I'm sorry I let my account lapse. We're in a recession! It happens. Please allow me to use tools that YOU PUT IN PLACE to play my character in this game! It just goes to show you that you shouldn't kneel down in front of the third rail, grab it with both hands, and **** on it from three feet away. |

This thread should be stickied up top as I wasted isk trying to activate my second account. No petitiion has been answered over 2 days and counting. Pretty **** poor service as one would think this type of petition should be a priority for their customers. Got to keep this bumped up so others don't freeze up there accounts.

I tried to reactivate my account using my debit card but I got this message.
"We are sorry but you can not update your payment details unless you have less than 30 days playtime remaining on your current subscription.
Your remaining playtime is 58d:6h:58m"
My account is active but suspended.
So it seems to me that I'm stuck. I'm stuck outside EVE, maybe I should file a stuck petition... They seem to be taken care of.

Why did CCP made a sticky thread about GTC problem in General Discussion section and not in Timecode Bazar? Why for almost one month there is still no official answer on this problem?
P.S. My account is still suspended, still no answer to any of my petitions. 2 days have passed.

back to the top. Wow, I just noticed the sticky in General.. it's been 3 days and no response and I just noticesd that post.. wait? anyone think maybe I missed it cause it's stickied IN THE WRONG SECTION? Smooth move Fallout. Last I checked the people that need to see that post are looking HERE, not there. "I'm gonna go buy me a GTC, Maybe I should check general discussion for any official posts about GTC's before I go to the section of the forums dedicated to GTCs"... Common sense error anyone?

CCP fixed my problem after almost 3 full days and several petitions. AFAIK, the problem still exists and this needs to be visible until CCP confirms that this bug has been squashed, so without further ado... Bump
