Battleships are fun for about 5 minutes. They are big and powerful but so slow (except for the dual mwd ravens). So i ask what type of ship do other people love to fly.
My vigil is alot of fun and you can not go pass my "incursus of doom"(tm) but i have the most fun in my thorax.

Ceptors are good, but recently i have been having fun snooping around in my covert ops. These ships are far from perfect (mainly due to the stoopid prices of covert cloaks) but there are good times to be had in them. IMHO its good to get in a ship where the main point of it is not to shoot other people 
P.S. I think it would be nice if someone in a cloaked ship didnt appear in local.

First ship i ever pvp in was a thorax. I went out pirating with some much older eve players and killed an apoc and then i was hooked this was in my second week of eve. Btw the punisher is alot of fun to play around in.

I love my Rifter. The Vigil can be faster, but I just love my Rifter.
With that said, I'm just 9 days to having a fully operational and loaded Cheetah... so a vigil, heheh. But a very sneaky one! I will take great joy in snooping around all covert like. Maybe i'll take a trip through Curse... just because I'll be able to :)

I always liked frigate combat the most, back from the days of old when you could fit two launchers with cruises on the Rifter. The Wolf assault frigate brings back some of that punch and it is quite addictive to zip around with it while trying to find a target that it cannot handle. |

My first ever PvP was in a rifter, will always love that ship. Took out a Merlin when i was fighting 2vs1 against a merlin+rifter.
If only i had seen the rifter and blown him up first i might have lived... ah well good times, very good times.
If i could afford silly expensive assault frigates id love to try the minnie and amarr ones out.
Need Gallente frig 5 and caldari frig 5 methinks.

I love the support role of tackling 
Ships i have flown and loved in order i flew them.
Raven for I could run a MWD and multiple warp disrupters to catch the targets (this was before frigates were useful), weapons dont use cap.
Tempest for its very good damage with 1400mm at all ranges (even under 10km) and it allowed me to use mutliple warp disrupters, get in close quickly with MWD and keep the targets jammed, no defence though (before frigates were useful)
Stiletto is my all time favorite ship since I could in most cases keep any ship away from warping until either he or I was dead for it is very fast and has 4 medium slotts, it does not fight other frigates and lives though but then again the Stiletto isnt a fighter ship but a support (flew this one for a long time and lost loads of them, but we got alot more kills cause of it
Apoc since it allows for massive tanking and yet deals loads of damage, versitile in every aspect and can play any role imo today, also its the best mining ship 
Support role is my fab, making ships stay while friends kill them makes me cream, but lack of kill mails is rather tedious

I think I'll be able to answer this once Exodus comes out and I've seen the destroyer and battlecruiser in a more solid state.
For now though, Zealot. Always been fond of the Maller design, and with Khanid colors/stats it's just gorgeous to behold.
(Oh yeah if they ever get a tech II Khanid Armaggedon, then that will take its place)
