CCP, why is your crapshack game falling apart?

Captain Pompous Is Right Even When He's Wrong So Deal With It	Posted - 2009.12.17 21:33:00 - [1] Title says it all really. What with API being disabled, the numerous reboots, the 0.0 lag, etc., I am sure that that I'm not the only person whose confidence in your ability to provide a workable game experience has taken a bit of a beating. Can anything be said to allay these fears? --- Even though you might disagree with what I say, that doesn't automatically make me a troll.

You have to remove the variables outside the game to see what IN the game is broken. Numerous reboots....I thought there was just one. 0.0 lag, well that's been explained many times and why people hate blob warfare. Too many people who whine too much in the forums. Sheesh. You have 2 choices. Let them fix the issues for this awesome game so many of us love and cherish or you can go somewhere else. The 3rd option of complaining about it doesn't do anything at all to help the issue. If you see something specific that hasn't been reported, just report it.

Lanerith Gears of Progress Cosmic Anomalies	Posted - 2009.12.17 21:53:00 - [10] The game is overhauled every 6 months. The number of changes made in that time to a production system are astounding. A startup game is not written in 6 months or even a year. Once it goes production, though, changes are even more difficult as you have to keep from destabilizing everything. CCP does an excellent job. People will always complain. In another year, I expect to see a lot more changes and the problems associated with making changes.

I didn't say it was ONLY blob warfare. I said it's been explained many times in the past. I assumed I wouldn't need to go into intricate detail about it coming back worse since the last patch, etc. You assumed something and went off half-****ed.

What about my post wasn't calm? Where did I say I was upset about downtime? Didn't bother me at all. I agree there is returned lag issues. I look forward to them being fixed. It wasn't really unexpected, and as they find the choke points, they'll fix it up again. From the day I started playing I've heard and understood, "After a patch, there will be problems and you should be careful to minimize your losses." Once again, Eve is a great game! CCP does a great job! :)
