Gonna run a mini competition alongside this.
GUESS HOW MANY HULKS WILL DIE.
5m entry fee. Send isk to KAYSAI with the amount of hulks you think will die as the reason. Winner takes all, winner will be closest to the actual amount (whatever helicity says in the end).
Will give api details to someone to audit at the end if you don't believe i picked hte right person w/e. You can enter as many times as you like. Will not say what everyone else has guessed until its closed (day before hulkageddon starts) blah blah blah.

Although I'm a bloody carebear at heart, I endorse this event. IMHO all you pirates and gankers put the spice into this game. Thanks to Helicity Boson for organising the whole thing as well for everyone donating.

I almost approve of this topic. I'll kill the hulks because I can't lose money doing it, but I do that anyway. Nothing better than free carebear money.
I don't even have local on top anymore as the tears have ceased to mean anything. Now it's all about the ISK, and after that fades, we'll see.
Hulkageddon? Maybe we should have Carebear destroy week. Not just kill Hulks and whatnot. With insurance it's not a big deal to just have pirates take over Eve and kill EVERY player in High-Sec. Non-stop high-sec ganking of EVERY SHIP class possible.

Actually there isn't that much isk involved in this, not enough to justify the time and effort needed to make this event work atleast, and if he does steal it then he'll be considered more of a petty small timer thief rather than a "real" scammer

Oh yeah, easily. All you need is a Catalyst, small hybrids 4, surgical strike 3 or 4, rapid firing 3 or 4, and weapon upgrades 3 or 4.
For a fit, use a Catalyst with:
8x T1 Light Neutron Blasters (or cheap named) with 10 shots of Caldari Navy Antimatter in each gun
3x T1 or cheap named Magnetic Field Stabilizers
If fitting space is left, 1-2 cheap sensor boosters in the med slots.
I've used this fit to solo suicide gank Retrievers in 0.5 and 0.6 space, easy-peasy.

I still say we kill every gankable ship instead of just exhumers. Heck, target EVERY mining ship (newbie to T2, basically anything firing a mining laser) and possibly have a MISSIONGEDDON where you hunt down and gank mission runners in the game. How about TRANPSORTGEDDON? They're just as slow so the newbs can still play with them. MISSIONGEDDON might be aiming a bit high, as someone running missions will actually have real defenses and probably much more difficult to Alpha, but hey, it's a challenge.
EVEGEDDON would be hilarious though. Target everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, that you could possibly suicide gank from .6 to 1.0. No mercy, no caring about ISK (beyond the obvious free ships from the insurance), just a full fledged week of no safety anywhere.

Fitting a scrambler on one of the ships can be a good addition as well. It is very rare but occasionally your targets will be at their keyboards and aware enough to turn and warp out when they realize they are about to get ganked.

Noticed a definite increase in paranioa from Hulk pilots. I located a LADAR point and decided to have a toot, never know might find something funky. Hit the area in my Catalyst and saw 2 Hulks (no Corp on either). I had no intention of attacking, was more interested in guiding a friend to the Omber, but they warped out a few moments after I arrived - they never came back. Seems to be a pattern at the moment, same happens in the asteroid belts I patrol, I warp in the miners warp out - I'm only there for salvage :P |

So the non-afkers are on heightened alert, which leaves all the bot and afkers to get butchered. This just gets better and better. We've turned this into a benefit to the entire EVE community.
Who knew that this would become a public service. CCP should toss in a prize or two.
