Hilarious, simply hilarious. The funny part is after it ran for a bit i knew it was a scam- and still came close to sending a few hundred mill. Thanks for all the songs and the memories. You will be missed.

Whew... glad most of my isk was tied up with Goonswarm's CAIDS offering when you originally announced the deal or else I would've dumped 10 billion in your lap based on my great experiences with the Eve Hold'em game you started (which, btw, I still enjoy. Props to Selene for running it well).
Pretty ironic that Goonswarm turned out to be the much better investment choice here vs your offering,  .
Fly safe (or not... I'm guessing you'll be taking your officer-fitted monstrosities into 0.0 alone just for the lulz) and thanks for Eve Hold'em!

Wow,
When I first joined this game so many years ago I listened to Eve-radio's Idol. He should have won, but some guy got his alliance to vote for him. Long story short, Curzon Dax has been a personal hero for me.
Ever since I've read his story of his Dominix kicking butt I tried to do the same thing. About 2 years later I had the honor to speak to Dax when he came back to eve, and I was suprised to know my fit was very close to his.
Today, after a few months of not seeing him I found this thread, and my heart LEAPED! I talked to Dax about pirating and how much I enjoyed it, and I am VERY glad he got his feet wet and did something I could NEVER do.
*Raises his glass* To you Curzon Dax, may you long live and prosper in this cruel world we call New Eden.

Haha, this is so awesome. A couple of the replies here even better.
But this is why I love eve, no rules (almost). When I tell people who don't play eve, all the crazy things that happen I usually mention the Bank scams etc. Now I will also have to include the "Curzon Dax Scam." Congrats and GL IRL, if you really are quitting :P
I am just glad I had no isk, because I read both your post about your "successes" as uber billionaire and the subsequent IPO, and I probably would have invested in you

I did expect it to be a scam, the original thread simply wasn't realistic enough to be true.
Overall, I find your quitting to be a loss for the community, you've done some very great parodies.
That said, those who have lost isk will always have your songs to comfort them

Galmarr, if you can fly *my* Arazu and the fittings on it, you can have it; I always like flying with you. :) Its Tech2 fit with Domination warp disruptors and maybe sensor dampeners, so it can scramble at 60km with my Recon L5 while locking down the sensor range on anything to >20km.
To an anonymous party who's getting all my stuff - if you're reading this, please don't hate over the loss of an Arazu.
I've given away a metric load of ISK to Dodixie and my corp chat. Yesterday I hit up a bunch of of noobies in DCMI with "HOw much is in your wallet?" However much they had, I rounded it up to a billion ISK. :)

Only because Curzon asked me to, otherwise I wouldn't have said a word, but my initial investment of 1b netted a 500% return. After a pretty gutwrenching sob story of being flat broke (far from true), having to need to ask corp mates for my 5b back(lol) that I had invested, he felt compelled to help a "poor soul" out.
I'm a fan of social engineering Dax, and normally wouldn't do that under any other circumstances, but you asked for it. ;)

Well whatever your reasons are for leaving, I wish you well. Been an interesting read for a new player like me. It's the sandbox player dynamics like this that convinced me to try out EVE in the first place. Hopefully I won't be on the receiving end of a scam in the future lol.
