QFT, several of the major guild leaders were female in DaoC and damned dangerous in pvp. Mine certainly were and I'll be damned if I didn't follow her as a guildmaster through another 3-4 MMOs after DaoC.
Sci-fi isn't her thing though so I think I'm safe here. >.>

I guess I'm just one of those few people that are not really interested in what the gender behind the avatar is.
You want to make a girl avatar as a guy IRL for whatever reason, then I see you as a female in game. You want to make a boy as a girl IRL than so be it. I see you as a guy in game.
I don't play EVE to find chicks to date. I play it to blow up other players ships, destroy them in the market or hang out and make virtual friends.
I just don't know why so many people are so obsessed with what gender is behind the avatar in MMOs.

Does EVE have some kind of "dating corp"? If not then I think I could rack in tons of isk by making one and then exploit the hearts of the oh-so-lonesome boys that play this game by hooking them up with female players (confirmed and unconfirmed such - I'm not going to be fuzzy about insignificant details).
