What do you want?
More contents? or Bug/issues fixing? or Overhaul of subpar features?
Personnaly, I want the third option. Its time for a factionnal warfare overhaul, for an NPC overhaul, for an interface overhaul and a POS overhaul. There have been a lot of topics about all these subjects with tons of ideas to fix their problem and yet havent seen much of an improvement.
Also, another thing that really annoy me, its the LACK of consistency; correspondence or uniformity among the parts of a complex thing.
But you, what do you think?

I vote for the all-of-the-above option, too
If you add a bug fix patch, people will complain that there are still bugs, and that there's no new content, and the old stuff sucks
If you add a content patch, people will complain that there are lots of bugs, and that the new content blows, and the old content isn't fixed
If you add an overhaul patch, people will complain that x or y didn't get overhauled and it's totally not fair that z did, and also that there are bugs and no 'new' content
If you add a bit of everything, everyone will still complain about everything, but they'll spend more time yelling at each other about what's more important. An eight on the whine-o-meter that could generate superthreadnaughts instead generates a few small threads of carebears hating pirates and nullsec hating missions. Thus, victory. _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

Personally I'd like to see a lot more ships. I know there's already lots of them, but even more variety couldn't hurt.
T3 frigates More variety in T2 battlecruisers (or t3 battlecruisers)
Try to make PVE more fun somehow
Make mining actually worth the time (T3 barges?)

The next expansion should have a failsafe built into the logic where if the node begins to be overloaded with blob warfare, the ship proximity avoidance subsystem is "rebooted", and for the duration of the reboot ships in motion become weapons, doing damage and taking damage as would be the case.
Also connected to this period of loss of damage control would be the failure of "splash damage" protection systems. Collateral damage would be felt from explosions and nearby ship destructions.
In short, a properly placed volley could cause a chain reaction of damage that could, theoretically, wipe out an entire blob, thus reducing the stress load on the server's calculations of objects in space.
Can you just imagine the carnage?
Oh, it would be sweet.

- Jita security fixed from current 0.9 to 0.6 and disable its local channel. This will reduce lag and carebearing.
- Crokite and Dark Ochre roids for lowsec belts. This will make lowsec more appealing.
- Total revamp of corporation roles - for both better management and security. This will improve corp management.
- Make something about thieves and robbers. Some like they can't sell on market stuff marked as corp-property. This will improve corp confidence and teamplay: no more paranoid and solo-play just in case robbers...
- Fixed wardec fees: 1m/week/member of victims corp. 3m/week/member if its an alliance. Fixed corp founding fee: from current 1.6m to 100m. This will help the joke that wardecs and corp-hoping are.
- Addition of market transaction taxes, for transactions bigger than 100k ISK. Customizable from 0.1% to 1.0% as max to prevent lolrobbery and trading ruin... This adds an awesome financing source for corps and its more fair than missions tax, but this can still be kept.
- NPC market tax = 5% ; NPC missions tax = 20%. Want protection, pay for it!
- Disable mining barges and exhumers in the 12 noob systems. In your face, macrominers.
- NPC members can't fly following ships: Exhumers, Battleships, Freighters.
- CEOs can set a tax for members quiting corp. Customizable from 1m to 100m. This will prevent from corp jumpers and ragequits.
- Default CSPA charge fixed from current 2,950 to 7,950 ISK. Its currently too cheap to spam around. Max should be dropped from 1m to 100k, though.
- Disable block automatically conversation invites. In your face macrominers!!!

Call the next addon Vitamin C. Content? None. Changelog: - EVE server software has been rewritten in C++. - The EVE client has be rewritten in C++. - A lua UI API has been added. Maybe then today's EVE nodes can do what DAoC nodes did ten years ago. 100vs100 without lag. Well, serverlag anyways. And some players might actually manage to give this game a decent UI
Not that I'm a big fan of UI mods, but if CCP do a decent UI, there aren't many other options. -

I think NPCs need an overhaul and so do missions in general. 1-4 enemy ships in a mission max, pvp fitted(no scrams on lvl 1-3), with hp and damage comparable to t1 kitted ships.
it seems odd that there are fleets of pirates flying round high-sec space. Cut it down so it's the odd raider slipping though the net, leave big spawns to lvl5s in low sec and 0.0.
1. It fit's RP wise. 2. If you improve salvaging as well each wreck would be more important. 2. You might get more carebears engaging in PVP as the principles of pvp combat will be there from day 1. PVP won't be so alien to them and they won't scream and hide away at the first sign of it. Killing Pilots will just be a progression of ratting instead of something alien to your average carebear.

I'd rather all the current issues be fixed and then move on to working on other things instead of going from one issue to another and only fixing it halfway and then stopping. Fix lag.
For future content: -More tech3 ships. Except tech3 mining ships. There are too many miners as it is. -On an industrial note, make mining a tad more interesting. Make comets that you can mine but you have to scan them down to find them (or would that technically not be possible since a comet moves? You can't really have a comet be stationary because then it wouldn't really be a comet anymore.) -More tech2 ship options besides frigates and cruisers. Maybe like a t2 BC or BS that is a mobile laboratory/research/exploration ship.
Overhaul: Taxes on people in NPC corps (make it higher). Do something with insurance. It's rather outdated.

Overhaul of subpar features: 1) Overhaul of mining - make it more profitable, but harder to do at the same time - preferably in a manner which makes macro miners nigh impossible to create. 2) Overhaul of the UI - waaaayyyy too many right click menus that we need to navigate. 3) Overhaul of mission NPC AI (IE, give them sleeper AI). Ideally, make it so that you can't macro or semi-afk mission. 4) Overhaul of POS's and moon mining. ---------- There is always a choice. The choice might not be easy, nor simple, nor the options be what you desire - but, nevertheless, the choice is there to be made. |

I can be wrong, but I think that all the "real miners" (those who like the role play part of it) would welcome a revamp in the mining profession.
Make it much more challenge, difficult and active.
Obviously The profit raise will come with it.
(I wont add suggestions because people have made lots alrerady)
nowadays is too boring and easy, everybody can do it afk with alts (and worst, Macros )
Remove T1/t2 mods drops from wrecks and make them unprocessable.
- compensate the drop of income to the MR's with other stuff like special NPC wreck drop that can be sell it on the market (to produce other stuff in the same way of salvage) but don't F**K other players professions as miners and T1 manufacturers-
I think that with this changes Mission Runners, Miners and T1 producers would be happy.
Anyone think the opposite?

Hee hee hee. You're funneh.
-Jita lag is fine. Get a real PC newb. Also, increase sec status to 1.0 just to **** off gankers.
-Put all the ores out there you want. IDC. People will be more likely to mine in WH's or behind nosec Walls anyways.
-Sounds fine, long as you remove the 24h cooldown between dropping roles and leaving a corp.
-Hee hee hee. Nah, keep it as-is. Encourage the attitude of distrust in EVE.
-HAHAHAHAHA. Yeah, right. They'd never push up corp founding fees. They want to ENCOURAGE people to make corps. Increased wardec fees would be funneh, though. Though I'd say 3M/member, 10M/member in an alliance. **** off the griefers.
-No problem with this, long as it's listed in corp profiles like standard tax.
-Nah, make it an even 15% on all transactions. Include LP and datacore gain in the figure.
-Psht. Just change the rules so it's not harassment to pop anything besides a rookie/T1 mining frigate there. Then go Hulkageddon them.
-Nah. Just suicide the miners.
-Sure, but it has to be displayed up-front and a new flag has to exist so that when you join a corp, your 'weenie-out' fee is whatever the fee was set to when you joined, NOT the current rate. This is to keep a CEO from being an ass and setting it way up as a way to rip off corp members. Also, a history of past settings on the quit tax must be available to see if it spiked up before.
-Nah, raise the default to 100k. Raise the max to 100M.
-Nah, leave this alone. It ****es off people who can't accept others don't want to talk to them. If they're that desperate for convo's they should try talking to RL people.

How about a proximity alarm. For example, a pilot drops a probe like device from the scan probe launcher next to a worm hole or gate and when a ship comes within the probe's range (say 20 or 30k) it sends an alarm off to the pilot without the pilot having to query it all the time as one would do with a combat scanner. Also, it would remain active even if the pilot jumps in another ship, the probe has life of 2 or 3 hours. What detailed info that probe sends back? Ship type? Player? or just an alarm a ship or ships have come in detection range.

Ok, get this. We need a ship with 4 big sail-like things, well, lets call them sails. There are no thrusters on this ship, it is propelled by the sails. There will only be room for one fitting, maybe a warp scrambler... No, a probe launcher! Yes! And you can use it to do exploration. And give everyone in the game one. _______________________________________________

I'll bite.
What I'd like to see fixed/improved on...
1. No Local Channel in null-sec. Delayed Local in Low-Sec.
2. Assault Frigates 'fixed' or at least speed increased like originally planned. Give this class of ship something useful to do.
3. NPC corp characters limited to combat class ships, no freighters, haulers, mining barges or LOGISTIC SHIPS
4. Neutral Remote Reppers in Empire (lowsec and highsec) to be given combat aggro or at least be marked as shootable by their respective groups. Be it Opposing Faction or Wartarget status for 15 minutes.. This would entirely fix FacWar an awful lot.
5. Gate jump-in lag. There is no way I should not load the opposite side to see me death. That way I won't mind so much losing a ship when I know I did an oopsie into a hostile camp. Right now, losing a ship and not loading the system and ending up in a station is not a fun way to play this game.
6. W-space. Make more 'sites' or more w-space places. Encourage more people to go there and create more T3 ships. They're fun to blow up and drop good loot :D
