well well well... Fixes is what I wants..
Sound fix.. no more hardeners that disable turret sounds, working jukebox etc... Turrets to have recoil again.. Missile launchers to maaaybe come out of their launchers (maybe rats not killing my drones if I have a reconnect) AA that works fix for blocky Shadows a rework for the lousy hit effect for turrets Petitions that get answered in less than 3 days (it's been 5 now.. I hope the Account get's it's 90 days added before the subscription runs out...) ... nothing fancy

I want zombies...
Battleships will launch bombs with toxins at colonies down on planets and the players playing dust will have to take their guns and kill the zombie hordes...
Seriously, we won't know what we'll get like 10 days before the patch as far as I've seen it and as this time - there will be stuff added that won't ever reach final patch notes (like moros nerf in dominion). Lets not count on anything really, although I am really waiting for walking on stations and on pos.
Landing on the ground should also be nice and fighting but I'd rather see it not as normal fps but more like mech wars, with soldiers running around but npc controlled. Capsuleers should control huge war machines on the field. But that's just my vision...
huge war machines fighting zombie hordes... Yarr...
And btw - if capitals will be able to give support to those fighting on land... A normal siege launcher launching a nuke ever like what... 4 seconds? Whiping out the entire surface of a battlefield... No f-way this will work as we'd love to...

TBH, if there was an expansion that just gave us this, I think I'd be happy with it.
Same here, it is almost as high on my wish list as the option to turn off "positional sound effects" and fix sound to pre-Apocrypha quality ( then you can start improving after that )
The shimmering and flickering ( due to no AA ) is especially visible on Minmatar stations ( probably has something to do with the duct tape :p )

So one of the things bandied about is the ability to build/develop infrastructure on the planets? So now I get to play Sim City on Eve?
As has been said on here several times fix the Risk/Reward in low sec.
Also, putting out a fully finished product and actually listening to the people putting in time on the test server to give feed back might be a good place to start.
In general I believe CCP does an outstanding job with this game. Sometimes, though, I believe they overthink the problem and over do whatever they believe the fix might be.
Whatever the next expansion holds, I am sure I will still be playing, and enjoying almost every minute of it.

Only in so much as the spirit behind SimCity and Civilization type games. As noted, it'll be more about adopting policies and such rather than building actual structures, roads, etc.
But until they fork over more details, there's really nothing concrete to work off except for these concepts they've given us. So no need to worry....yet. - - - Aloriana Jacques - Skill Sheet

This is CCP speak for "almost no content - use your imagination, sandbox etc"
This. 'Planetary Interaction' when it comes will almost certainly consist of a new dialog box with a few boxes to tick, and probably a new pointless and unbelievable isk sink.

Ever heard of Quantum Patch? That was the big industry-expansion, until it was decided a bug-fix expansion was more needed.
I would love a bug-fix/mechanic improvement patch for T2 '010, but I'd like it to be defined as being such from the beginning. The EVE client, game mechanics, and game logic have been continuously modified for well over seven years. After a project has been actively modified for this long, it has to have become a mess. It would be comparable to not reformatting a PC for two years.
CCP really should dedicate the next patch to housekeeping. EVE needs it... Badly.

In all honesty, housekeeping should be done little as little as they go, not all at once. That kind of defies the purpose of bug fixing. If you patch a whole bunch of things all at once and people report MORE problems you don't know where to start looking. Meanwhile, if you patch even one thing a month, there's a much narrow possibility of where the problem is if a new problem occurs for some people because of a small patch.
Bug fixes are all well and nice, but it's not really anything to look forward to and be excited about. :\ Not in the same way as you can about an expansion releasing new content. - - - Aloriana Jacques - Skill Sheet

no, 90% of that video was people fighting who were blissfully unawares of the aggression timers and docking
In real eve, the video would have been over at 0:30 with,"he lit a cyno...", with the entire defending fleet docking or sitting inside a POS bubble _____________________ Horrors! Demons in the deep! |

I love to enter planets and fight in the atmosphere. Would be a great way to hide from your enemies that are hunting you. Of course it woudln't work on jupiter size planets the gravity is way too heavy but on Earth size and below would be a welcome edition.

Not really the same as what planetary interaction means for EVE. Star Trek uses planets as an environment for players, like dungeons and zones. EVE will use it not as something that we pilots physically visit, but something we take care of and get something back for....like a potted plant, but with guns, and lasers, and factories, and nukes dropped from orbit.
Oh, and welcome back to the game, Solaris. Saw your other post. - - - Aloriana Jacques - Skill Sheet

Go to character bazzaar. Almost every character sold is miner. AFK mining enables CCP to squeeze out last money from people who really really do not want to play any more but still feel attached to the game - before they finally quit. The same with AFK training. The less interaction the better.
Also polish in my EvE? EvE has rough barebone mechanics that people metagame around. And abuses are touted as sales pitch.

My only wish except for a more stable less crashing game would be this:
In addition, the highly requested feature of removal of insurance in CONCORD related events will be implemented in the near future.
Well... ok got a few more wishes:
- A tool in game to verify the damage crystals have when they are not loaded. Whether it be laser or mining crystals, please find a way to r-click then get damage or something a like.
- Default short-cut notifications on the right when you do a right click so people get familiar with them
- Auto stacking in cargo and hangars/ cans like the POS fuel bay. *\o/*
- Drag & drop. Like in the corporate hangars of the orca you can easily move items into 1 of the 7 cargo holds without opening the tab. Would love to drag stuff from my cargobay onto of one of my GSC's without the need of having to open it.
- A skill to unanchored offlined towers. L3 makes it possible to unanchor small, l4 medium and l5 large towers.
- When docked see other ships docked, pahaleash! :)
- Make mining less boring less AFK possible.
- A US/EU store with *NORMAL* shipping cost ffs. >.< I want to buy stuff not hand over my arm to some stupid fedex agency.

Introduce REAL squadrons/teams/wings call them as you like, but make it so that people MUST create smaller groups to fight each other. What i mean is not to reduce the number of people fighting, but having a more tactical and deep fighings.
Example: you can still make huge fleets of 200+ people, but the squads inside it should really be indipendent: the fleet leader should assign a target for every squad, up to a maximum of 2 squads can fight a single target. So you can have dedicated squads and attack an enemy bs team with 2 of your squads, 1 of tacklers and 1 of bs; then the enemy must fight you with an anti-tacklers squad while sending support and so on...
You can then have mixed squad (let's say 5 tacklers + 5 sniping bs, or 1 command + 3 tacklers + 6 dps ships and so on) and solo-pilots that can be assigned like a jolly to support teams (but, being alone, they don't get bonuses from the fleet).
This will mean: less focused fire + more tactics + more fun fights.
It's very hard for me to exlpain this well, like i'd wish to do, expecially becouse of my poor english, but I really hope to see something like this one day.
Agreed, make the FC more of a command role focuing on straighty/tatics rather than command

Instead of expansion how about some polishing? Why do software companies ignore the obvious and apparent imperfections in their software and instead expand it to include more imperfections with which the customer base is left to deal with?
A polished UI would be more welcome than planet interaction. Some real physics would be cool too? Ducking behind objects to deflect fire. First person piloting. Gravity wells. How about a freaking compass of some sort to orient the player in both the space view and the map view? How about if I collide with another ship I don't just bounce off?

Objects deflecting fire, 1st person piloting, gravity wells = massive lag
Ship collisions used to cause damage, most likely fixed due to jita undock
