Absolutely amazing vid especially since The Rock is one of my favorite movies and the soundtrack was used quite often. I did not participate much due to RL issues. But this video is by far one of the best i have seen. Trying to compare them all together is just not possible. To make true use out of every video get a DVD burner go hunt them all down(as in all the videos for EVE) and burn and EVE DVD. I dont have the patience to do it but im sure it would turn out to be a good EVE history tool.(HISTORY IN THE EYES OF THE PLAYERS) ------------------------------------ "Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold." -Old Klingon Proverb

I would burn them to a DVD, but the encoded wmv doesn't have that good quality and bitrate for it to be viewed on a DVD.
Author has to export the project not only as a compressed video file, but also export it straight to mpeg-2/ogg ready for the DVD authoring software. Premiere does this. But it's impossible to get the old videos now, since nobody has the raw footage and the Premiere project files for them anymore :)

Actually, I do have all of my old FRAPs. I have everything I've ever used to make a vid. I may go back one day and remake a couple of the old ones in Premiere and do a SPECIAL EDITION re-release or something. Shouldn't be all that hard. -

Actually I have done the same, have all my raw-footage and projects archived for future use.
Maybe do something fun with it some day.

Edited by: Jazz Bo on 22/11/2004 11:48:02 If you use the second mirror you end up with something called "votf_final" but only 43MB in size.
Trying the first one again, which seems to have more bandwidth anyway (230kB/s).
EDIT: that works, very, very nice vid. Gotta love that Jerry Brucheimer music too.

Originally by: Dentali You guys are nuts about this video. It was no where near close to the quality of the NSN films spread across this forum. They have truely set the standard, NOT Body Count. The moment I see a Body Count video that compares to theirs, I will give them some props. But honestly, not even about this instance, the NSN films from the PA still rock the box about this game.
Dentali, as somewhat of a spokes person of NSN and a close friend to Leafo I recent the way you have behaved in this thread, it sickens me to be honest! If it wasnt for your disturbed behaviour your comment could have gone down as a possitive thing. Now I wish you to never speak of us again. Thank you.
Leafo may or may not have set an standard for movie-making in generall but BDCI certainly has done so in terms of story telling and interaction of the involved parties. Everytime a new movie comes out it has been bigger, better and more advanced! Ask Leafo, he's trembling with fear!
Now...what was it that I was supposed to do next...hmm..oh yes...email

Omigod, that is going to take A LOT of time. DVD authoring takes time, not to mention the rendering time.
What you must do, is put all the vids for each contract into a big Premiere project, one timeline, one clip - you'd get like an hour of footage or so - then render and export it for DVD software - which is going to take many hours :)
Add a nice menu in the DVD software and burn :) And tah dah - you got Sel's EVE contract archive special edition :) which you then mail to CCP as a gift
