Welcome to the largest, most bloody contract ever taken by BDCI and our mercenary associates FRICK.
Some quick history:
Earlier this year, BDCI took a contract to attack Celestial Horizon (CLS) in Empire. Our job was to spend a month just basically chasing down and disrupting any CLS activity. For those who were in CLS at the time, IÆm sure they can tell you it was not a fun experience. CLS was large, but still finding its feet in the EVE universe.
BDCI carried out the contract against CLS to the best of our ability. Finally, the new CEO, Cyvok, took control and met with me to discuss an end to the bloodshed. The video for that war can be found by clicking here.
The results of the war with CLS and the professional conduct on both sides were noted and contact was maintained between our two corps at an informal level for several months after.
CLS got bigger, more organized and, basically, made themselves a larger target to their enemies with each passing day. BDCI went on to form a Coalition with FRICK which yielded excellent results in following contracts against Everlasting Vendetta and The Merchant Marines.
The VOTF War
When VOTF declared war on CLS, I canÆt say I was surprised when Cyvok contacted me. He knew first hand what we could do and that we would not take such a contract lightly.
The war itself was far different than anything else weÆd attempted. Our job was more to protect CLS, not score maximum kills. Still, to do the job effectively we had to ensure that VOTF was properly ôdistractedö. The first night proved what we already knew: this was a Fleet War and the smaller ships would take a secondary role.
No problem.
VOTF was the most organized, deadly foe we have ever faced, yet it was obvious from the outset that they did not consider our coalition to be cause for concern. IÆd like to think that perception changed after the first few battles. A few of VOTFÆs pilots were very generous with their praise and it helped foster an atmosphere of respect between both sides.
Yet all of this asideà this is a vid from our side of the war. IÆve little doubt that it will be subject to scrutiny and outright flaming. I would like to state for the record that I did offer VOTF the opportunity to contribute footage to this video and it was ignored by one party and politely refused by another. So, I went with what I had and set out to tell the story of just how bloody a war in Empire can get when you have a group of equally bloodthirsty people gunning for each other.
While the video pretty much speaks for itself, to those who wish to think parts are somehow fabricated or embellished, I invite you to peruse the new BDCI Kill Boards. There are still a few bugs that DiemensionZ has assured me will soon be ironed out, but it is as accurate a reflection of our efforts as we can calculate. If VOTF has a kill mail for one of my or FRICKÆs pilots that is not on this kill board, feel free to eve mail it to me and I will be more than happy to update our records.

That was where I started. I spent an hour here, three hours there over the last three weeks and finally an eight hour marathon last night. Why so long? Well, RL for one, and there were a lot of elements I didnÆt have and had to coordinate with a few other people.
WARNING - File size is 131MB!
I know itÆs a monster, but there is no way I could have split this in half. It would have ruined the flow of the movie and once you watch it IÆm sure you will agree. I hope you take the time to download it and are not disappointed.

If you have a bitorrent client, this might work better for you, be sure to keep your client open though, so we can all help eachother to get this downloaded :) My poor home connection isn't too big, but a lot of home connections is :)

If you have a bitorrent client, this might work better for you, be sure to keep your client open though, so we can all help eachother to get this downloaded :) My poor home connection isn't too big, but a lot of home connections is :)
