EVE is far from dead, yesterday we had over 52 000 players online before crash.
You forget also the MMORPG rule, that the forum whiners are loudest minority in any MMORPG. It's quite interesting, they are so hooked in the game, that they think that developers are making the game just for them. Not every player who plays it, just for that particular. And if he quits, the whole game dies. That's what he thinks
Same old, same old, since first MMORPG arrived in the scene back in days...

Because like every issue where CCP ****s up, they want it to go away via locked threads and forum bans, rather than having to actually lift a finger to fix it.
This is why T20 is still employed at CCP.

Dear Tomcat,
I have been following you and your alliance's reaction to the current state of affairs of this game and i must admit you are, well, doing it wrong. You are losing this war and attempting to use CCP as a scape goat for your inadequacies.
1.) No ship has ever died to lag. Lag inhibits a pilots ability and doesn't give the pilot the chance to fight or defend depending of the severity of the lag. Your ships die because other peoples spaceships violenced your boat. We are all aware of the current strains on the servers and how it effects combat. Its time to adapt. Crying about something you don't like wont fix anything. Find away around it.
2.) The loss of a single station system should not be a death nail for an alliance but from what i can tell of your member base reactions, this appears to be true. You have to get control of your troops and bring them back to reality. Your morale is low and your efforts have been sub par. Its time to shake things up and step it up a notch. Your defeatist attitude will do nothing but quicken your loss even though you are no where near that point for a competent space holding alliance.
3.) The Coalition and its parts have spent the last several years bullying smaller entities and dictating who holds space and who does not. Your tactics are no longer gonna work. The loss of the aoe DD and dogpileing 3/4 of eve into one system is gone. The great war is over and its now the time of regional conflicts. You need to adapt or you will lose it all. It might be a good idea to study your enemy's who are being successful atm and pick up some of their strategies. If it works for them it should also work for you.
4.) Adapt and survive.
5.) The arrogance of the NC leadership in the past and present will be its death nail. Phreeze's rants about atlas and bobby has turned a 2 week roadtrip into something more and i believe it will continue to grow into something more. The "not 1 inch" and insulting atlas and friends member base is a very good way to boost our morale. Its greatly helped our participation while decreasing yours. Now is a good time to start being humble and ask for leniency because your time as a super power is coming to an end.
6.) Then NC has always used "meatshield" alliance to protect the holdings of Razor and MM. I don't think you should let yourselves be used in this way. The smaller members of the NC who know they will be sacrificed for safety of the "old guard" should get out of the way. You do not need to suffer the sins of the father for you will be cast aside with nothing to gain from your sacrifice and effort.
The days of the NC being a super power in eve are gone. There are too many people you have wronged in the past that are willing to step up and fight you tooth and nail. Pure blind and geminite are being burned and its only a matter of time till the rest fall. Adapt and put up a fight or die a quick death. Its your choice.

Not quite, we were foolishly relying on the enforcement of the games core rules in sov as a base to plan that stage of our defence. Although it was always a possibility that the Atlas, Gentlemen's Club, Cult of War, Solar blob would use exploits, we didn't expect them to be this obvious.

Not censoring our membership as you do, does not constitute blaming CCP for your invasion, we blame CCP for the ineffective enforcement of their own rules, allowing a GM to give the go ahead to allow the attack on a bugged station is unbelieveable. Your timing of this attack to take advantage of an unstable game post dominion is only proof that you are not up to the task, use of further exploits only proves how tentative your ability to win. You claim that victory is assured and yet you use your pet alliance solar, an alliance that has failed more times than I can count to take a station in Geminate to attempt to hold one. A very temporary play from a worried alt posting leadership.
As you attempt to build your new evil empire Atlas, you have to ask yourself how much further you want to become what you claim to hate.

Kinda surprised you would take this stance, your former alliance Rule of Three tried to deal with the NC. You asked them to buy your space so you could go elsewhere. Instead they war decced you, and MH took all your holdings for zilch. I remember your post about how sad it was that the space you guys built was barely being used but the towers were up on the few good moons humming away.
So instead of going into an alliance or corp that fights against that, you went and joined one of their closest allies.
The alliance you helped build was bullied, pushed around and finally killed by the NC and you go and join them instead?
An old, dead alliance might have done something like that way in it's past. It evolved, it's now trying something different.
The alliance you currently reside in however, after fighting tooth and nail to 'kill' that alliance went and became 10x worse. Because I seem to remember that when IT faced a problem with sov mechanics, they made a whine thread on CAOD.
Of course, since you guys are the alliance with the most favouritism chucked it's way by CCP, your problem was fixed.
WI, being a smaller alliance not populated with GMs and Devs, is unlikely to get this kind of completely fair and legitimate treatment.
Instead, they'll probably have to settle for "we won't **** this all up next system, we hope."
Since when is 2645 members 'small'? That's like... stupid

3.) The Coalition and its parts have spent the last several years bullying smaller entities and dictating who holds space and who does not. Your tactics are no longer gonna work. The loss of the aoe DD and dogpileing 3/4 of eve into one system is gone. The great war is over and its now the time of regional conflicts. You need to adapt or you will lose it all. It might be a good idea to study your enemy's who are being successful atm and pick up some of their strategies. If it works for them it should also work for you.
4.) Adapt and survive.
5.) The arrogance of the NC leadership in the past and present will be its death nail. Phreeze's rants about atlas and bobby has turned a 2 week roadtrip into something more and i believe it will continue to grow into something more. The "not 1 inch" and insulting atlas and friends member base is a very good way to boost our morale. Its greatly helped our participation while decreasing yours. Now is a good time to start being humble and ask for leniency because your time as a super power is coming to an end.
6.) Then NC has always used "meatshield" alliance to protect the holdings of Razor and MM. I don't think you should let yourselves be used in this way. The smaller members of the NC who know they will be sacrificed for safety of the "old guard" should get out of the way. You do not need to suffer the sins of the father for you will be cast aside with nothing to gain from your sacrifice and effort.
The days of the NC being a super power in eve are gone. There are too many people you have wronged in the past that are willing to step up and fight you tooth and nail. Pure blind and geminite are being burned and its only a matter of time till the rest fall. Adapt and put up a fight or die a quick death. Its your choice.

Again further proof that your priorities are wrong. As you sat there typing that reply, the "evil exploit army" of Atlas GC and COW reinforced several of your towers with no resistance. You find time to cry on the forums about how everything is unfair only to you while your empire burns to the ground. Atlas/GC/COW are really not that great of pvp alliances, we are pretty mediocre bunch. The fact that we crush you in almost every engagement is a testament of how poor you have adapted to the new game changes.
All of this name calling and crying has done nothing but make you look weak. Complain and cry all you want on the forums but that will not stop you from losing your space. Adapt and survive or pull your stuff down and save us the trouble.
