Sollytear	Posted - 2004.11.21 09:58:00 - [1] hey, I dont no the exact name of a mega tha uses blasters but i have tried to get as close as i can :) ANYWAY! :) :D I was woundering wat u guys think about it? My m8 says it s gr8 and i am looking to try it out but he shield tanks rather than armour tanks and i dont no if thats a good idea lol How about a lil setup: 7x ion/electron/neutron heavy blasters 1x cruiser/heavy/rocket launcher with defenders 1x MWD 1x Web 2x booasters / 1xt2 cap recahrger + booaster 2x Large Rep 2x HArdeners 3x relays

MadGaz	Posted - 2004.11.21 10:10:00 - [3] I havent used a Mega yet, but I dont think you'll be able to fit 7 neutrons and 2x large reps, using 1 large rep and a tech2 medium rep might be good aswell. As for your friend shield tanking, not a good idea I'm afraid. ------------------------------------------

Defenders arent really worth it atm, your ship goess full stop whenever you fire one. On the other hand, if i reali need more cpu/grid i could drop to electrons but they dont do hardly any dmg. Ion is a good middle stone, and has good tracking. Ion cuz: - It has better tracking - It has better RoF - It's lighter on the fitting reqs but: - It has less range. with all that summed up, a Ion blaster does almost the same DoT as a neutron, summing up the better tracking, althou with less range. same thing goes to the electron. All in all the 3 guns have similar Damage over time. With this, i am thinking of ditching the large rep and going for a CPU, and then having 2 hardeners (depending on rats). 7 ions 1 heavy launcher (cant b naffed with it tbh) 1 mwd, wed, booaster , recharger 1 large rep 2x hardeners 1x pdu (i like them for the cap too :D ) 2x relays 1spare for 1600tung or wateva can fit
