Edited by: Atandros on 22/11/2004 04:24:31 Jericho Fraction wishes to make it known that we do not intend to participate in this conflict in any way. We will endeavour not to be drawn into hostilities involving our +10 allies in NSA or BoB respectively.
We will be glad to continue working with our aforementioned allies in BoB against the common foes that are PA and CA.
We will not fire on neutrals and will return fire only when fired upon by any non-enemy corp.
All existing deals and arrangements and trade pacts are to continue.
It is our profound wish that this conflict be short and to the point, and that it resolves ultimately in renewed faith and progress towards the common ambition of a freespace Pureblind and commercial prosperity in the north.

I'm sure they have breathed a huge sigh of relief they won't have to engage JF's 2 0.0 combat pilots. -----------------

Most of us took holy vows at the Sanctuary School and enrolled as ley sisters. Though violence and microwarpdrives are now anathema to those that remain its possible one of our heavy food relief industrials could look a little like a small battleship if you were blind or in need of corrective eye surgery so it seemed only polite to warn the warring parties that we weren't taking sides in the latest carnage.
I hope everyone is relieved we won't be throwing buns and food rations at people in Pureblind.
Kthxbye!

Hope your aforementioned +10 allies in NSA and BoB have a shorter memory than the PA does. I remember a certain corp taking an instrumental role in the creation of... erm... what was it called now... oh yeah... Northern Coalition of Allies defending everyones freedom and ra ra ra home in time for tea and crumpets. Down with teh ebil PA and all that align with them.
Well I have to ask a question, how does JF manage to straddle a fence of warring 'aforementioned +10 allies' that it pretty much created? Don't you have any conscience whatsoever????
Also please define 'do not intend to participate in the conflict in any way'. Does that mean you will no longer assist BoB in Pure Blind? Does that mean you will defend NSA pilots from pirates in pure blind that simply didn't exist prior to this war (influenced largely by a certain corp that kinda rhymes with Terrible Actions)?
I need clarity here. You really need to define exactly what role you are taking in the war in the north. Jerichos meddling role has largely caused grief to a large number of alliances in the north, not directly through any semblance of combat prowess, but through powerplay, manipulation, lies, deceit and treachery. If there was any time for Jericho to aim to recover whatever honour it once had it is now.
Stop straddling the fence and take a side in the war you created, and face up to some responsibility instead of taking a minimal effort role in your sideline powerplays.
Or STFU.

Conflicts can be avoided karmae, what's wrong in avoiding war when there's nothing to earn from it ? you can end the war against bob as well.
JF wish to continue their "normal" activities, their decision has to be respected. It's not wise to take sides when 2 friends fight if you wish keep your friendship with both.

The action they have chosen is far more likely to destroying the friendship of both, imo, but each to their own.
