So, whats that one or two skills that you have been meaning to train for god knows how many months but you just keep putting it off. For me its energy management 5, everytime I go to train it I always rememeber something else that needs to be trained.

Took me the past 6 months to finally settle on a Vargur (Gal/Amarr/Mim BS to 4 along with the large racial guns to 4 and prereqs to get them \o/ ), have a remap comming up in 2 months that I botched when first released and about a weeks worth of training to get the last bit of charisma to 5/4 levels and shift around into an intel/perc plan on my main. If only I could warp around a sun back in time to a year ago and correct myself

Get Hull Upgrades V, makes the world of difference.
For me Amarr Cruiser V, silly but I just don't want to start flying ships that shiny atm... just finishing the T2 larges, then it'll be rapid fire V, energy grid upgrades V and I may even kid myself I should train controlled Bursts V before as well.
Think this ties into my aversion to doing Electronic upgrades V which I'll need to get into the curse... I have an alt for that cloaky stuff... but with Sharpshooter V finally done the Zealot has finally started calling me.

Caldari BS V, it's been sitting at 10 days for the past year or so. Stupid shiny Gallente ships...
I've also been putting off Logistics 1-4 and all the skills for warfare link mods since I realized the Eos gets a bonus to Information Warfare mods and not the Armor links like I had originally thought. Guess I'll be training Amarr frigates+cruisers and all the support skills to go with that.

In 12 days, I'll have all my gunnery support skills at V.
The next one I plan to put off will be battlecruisers V--I already have battleship V.

Because the 900mil price tag on the sheets alone plus the +1bil cost of the ship just keep making me wonder if I really have any reason to train to a ship I presently have no reason to fly on my industrial account other than the obvious thrill of being able to pilot it period.
I had every reason to purchase Capital Ships and Gallente Carrier I for my cap pilot, but... this ^ is a stretch for me and I have been able to train those two skills since March of '09.

I'm actually training Trajectory Analysis to lvl 5 now :D I guess the other skill that I've been putting off for months is Drone Durability 5. A godawful boring skill which has limited use, but I want it for completion sake... I keep adding it to evemon skillplans, but never actually start it.

Carrier 1 on my alt. (put off for 2 years)
I'd decided when I started the game that I didn't want to go down the capital ship route on any of my characters.
But knowing i'd change my mind 3 years down the line, I trained all the support skills for carriers on my alt, so Carrier 1 was really the final hurdle skill.
I suppose this must be my sig. I'll do something cool with it eventually. |

I'm actually saving up some longer skills to throw on my alts for when I go to Mexico for two weeks later in the spring. That way I can ignore training and have someone handle the towers and NOT think about Eve for a while :)

I'm at a roadblock anyway, I can't decide whether I want to go Amarr for lazor pew-pew or Caldari for the relaxed mission running, so I am on hold for training missiles, gunnery, shield or armour skills until I make a choice....
I had that exact same idea last year. So I first trained for the Sacrilege which uses heavy assualt missiles and can also be used on a drake. After that I went for lasers.... unfortunately before I finished I decided I wanted to fly minmatar... Now I can fly everything battlecruiser sized and smaller. I hope I can stop myself from training all BS to lvl 5.
Which brins me to the topic, I have been putting off:
Repairing to 5 (but that is finally almost finished)
Surgical Strike 5
...
bah.. when I think about, way to many skills

been putting 1% into it here and there lol... since i dont fly any assaults i have not been pushing it but i am hoeping for the rocket and assault fix and want to be ready (i have rocket spec 5).
But assault ship 5 i have just been pushing down the line repeatedly...

/me is very happy with both BS 5 and AWU 5, marauders do really nice in missions 
Also, I follow my evemon skillplan exactly so when a long skill is next, i just train that next.
Altough I really want Metallurgy to V, but its almost at the end of queue (want scrapmetal processing!)
But then again I cant really approve of any of this because this is my signature |

Afterburner III and IV. As of... about 5 mins ago, these skills have been trained on my main. I've been putting this off for months, denying myself the option to use MWDs. Mostly because I began my career as an industrial character and then wanted to solo level 4s in a BS, which required the training of many support skills. Now I'm a decent BS pilot so I'm getting back in frigs. And I've recently notice MWDs are a simple must have on frigs in certain situations. Next skill to train is High speed manoeuvrings, after which I shall test out the MWD by flying into a sun in the fastest frigate I can possibly fly. From what I've hear, the ship will not melt

I think a lot of the time, these skills are the ones newbies consider 'musts'.. pretty much from when i had 1 mill SP to about 30 mill SP, there was always something i wanted to train... i've actually, and this is a bit sad, reached the stage, where new skills, are just trained..because well its good to have them. there is no killer ship or method i desire to train anymore. i have all the core skills down, now im just fluffing around the edges..
but yeah, if there was one skill i put off for years, its the one im doing right now.. drone interfacing v. I hope it will be useful =o

Over 3 years now and I never had any Large Gun V . Just started Large Energy turret V on my alt .
And to the OP , that alt just finished energy management V.
