So.... How did Goonswarm get Delve again? Through sheer skill in combat? Through utterly efficient logistics? Through clever tactics?
Oh, right. A game mechanic flaw.
Unlike Goonswarm, other alliances don't need to cheat to beat them. They only have to wait for the Goon directorate to fail (again). Goonswarm lost their systems today because they didn't pay the bills. If the attackers can be accused of anything, it's taking advantage of their own failing directorate.

I can't believe so many people find this sort of thing "interesting".
To me its a major failure Theme in the game... outsized impact of a slip and or a covoluted system where one director of group could suddenly abscond with huge amounts of assets with a few clicks and no imaginary bankers or hanger gaurds stopping what clearly would be a jarring attempt at a coup
... huge impact on lag keeping large fleets assembled with months of game play being able to defend their home space by taking the field , or at least outcomes so often hinging on wither the ships work due or not due to server issues (whims from Olympus ?)
Not the sort of competition thats fun to watch , or drink the coolaid about the empire space holdign context . .. whther it happens to your side, your competition , or between third parties.

You know, I bumped into a couple bees this morning; strange to see them around home, as I live in town. One was particularly lost, since it flew through my restroom's window. After I saw the Sov Map, I quickly realized those two were evacuating delve and moving back to empire.
Delve was going to defect to IT, amIrite?

I am super noob. Joined SYS-K -yesterday- about 8 hrs before this happened. i played for 22 hrs straight since joining. ending my marathon with the renaming party of our new station. If anyone has ever had the urge to leave the shackles of empire life and join a 0.0 alliance, dear god do it. i have never had so much fun ever. yes that makes my life very pathetic. goddamned that was sweet though.
Thanks to Liam, Pimp Dog, Susan, The boys and girls in Nitro, SYS-K, AAA, Stain, Coven, ****ing jesus, thats right, ohh and cheetos and coca cola. without all of you this would never have happened. I am going to go to work tonight and run a power plant, having not slept for 2 days. So i am probably going to die. Totally worth it. See you in the morning. :D
