Don't know what CCP thinks of this, but if it looks like you're losing a ship due to lag, fraps it, then at least you'll have proof of what happened if you do lose it. I'm just being careful until the downlaods are mostly complete and the inevitible issues that will arise from go live are sorted. Hans WTS: Male, 37, single, can fly starships, build rockets and dance Salsa. WTB: Female, plays eve, lives near London UK

If you couldn't afford to replace the ship you were flying, you shouldn't of been flying it after such a large patch. It's well known that any system can be unstable after updates.

(Clearly not a necessary addition but if any CCPers wader across this thread I'm sure it'll amuse them to see that plenty of us aren't infact quite that whiney ) Seriously, until the patch went live I rarely read the forums and I'm a newbie 2 months into the game, but still I knew not to do anything remotely important or dangerous during patch week unless I was willing to risk my ship. Yes the contraband bug is a bit harsh but even then - it's hardly like the addition of contraband was a surprise. The features list has been up for... months now?
