yesterday i found a crokite roid inside a complexe in a high security system. when i scaned it, it showed 25k of crokite ! so i decided to call some friend and go mine it. it lasted some hours but we mined for more than 400 millions isk. but that's not all ! today i checked the roid to see if it has regrown and it was back at 25k !
i think that look like a bug because infinite crokite in empire is not a good idea

Hope for you it isn't a bug, since using something that's a bug to make 400mil, that's a exploit. ~{When evil and strange get together anything is possible}~ A tool is only useless when you don't know how to use it. - ActiveX The grass is always greener on the other side. - JoCool |

Its seems to be part of exodus
Ore Respawn Enhancements When an asteroid respawns it has a small chance of being of a different type than the location would normally yield but would spawn as if the security level of the system was lower. This gives a certain variety to the distribution and allows for explore to find better ores. Example:
Probability of going lower than its default level:
25% of going 1 level down 12% of going 2 level down 6% of going 3 level down 3% of going 4 level down 1.5% of going 5 level down 0.7% of going 6 level down 0.3% of going 7 level down 0.15% of going 8 level down 0.07% of going 9 level down "Requested items: One Mark V ECM unit, 1000 km of fullerene cable, one low yield nuclear warhead. Stated purpose: birthday party for Amarian dignitary." -Special Operations Service requisition form- |

I don't think it's not a bug. It's your reward :). I hope to find something like this too. This makes me want to get out there nad play now. Halflife 2 will have to wait.
However, it respawning at 25k sounds like a bug. It was probably reset in an update to complexes. I bet they didn't realise people had found one of those roids yet.

lol I found a HUGE one in a 0.6 complex myself, but was busy trying to kill stuff in my spiffy new destroyer so didnt stop to mine. But blah, someone totally destroyed my favorite asteroid belt at my HQ system, I figure a new one will probly spawn there...
And Siddy, as a member of a PvP corp you should want to have Oveur's baby for these changes. What rare minerals in empire space means is that zyrdine and megacyte prices will fall back more in line with what CCP had originally intended them to be (1024 and 4096 IIRC), and that coupled with new better mining equipment means cheaper ships and equipment, thus more people willing to go into combat as getting/losing a ship is not so big a deal anymore. Im assuming miner ships arent the only thing moo can kill these days _________________ [SAK] And Proud Of It! aka Cpt Bogus Is that my torped sig cloaking your base? |
