Well my views may not count for much but here goes.
Our corp has from inception been anti-pirate focused. Not to the degree of our good friends celestial apocalypse but we still maintain that ideology, though sometimes i accept due to circumstances we have held certain pirates neutral.
Unlike celestial we have tried to join various alliances for the benefit of our corp. This is mainly because not all our corp is pvp focused and we wanted to encourage newer players to join.
The problem with alliances is compromise and mutual agreement. You have to tolerate things you normally wouldnt to come to general conscensus.
Our corp in the past worked on friendly terms with RKK and even for a time joined PA. I had a lot of respect for both. In particular i respected PAs anti pirate policy which was in my view a good thing.
Evolution, however, i never really respected and viewed them as a warmongering corp who didnt really care about who they killed. On many occasions they killed some of our corp members, simply because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, or for other various tenuous reasons. Never to my recollection, was there a genuine apology, and i got the impression that they just laughed at the kills.
The recent Northern war against PA was rallied by Jericho Fraction (should this have been Faction? , anyway...). I could understand the rationale for the war. PA had been in the wrong, they had been acting aggressively in the region and failed to reign in CDI when they should if they wanted to upkeep there anti-piracy policy. It was with great reluctance that our corp joined this war and we made attempts to try and avert it by negotiating between kronarty and DB preacher. However it was clear that RKK wanted to pursue the war to give PA a bloody nose.
The war was fought under various banners with slogans such as "fighting for your freedom" "fighting for your right to party" etc. The slogans promised a lot. I genuinely believe that Jericho fraction , whos policy has always been freedom in venal, believed the motives to be true.
The situation in venal is now however depressing. I believe that even jericho fraction, with their lack of forum activity, and their stance on the nsa fu v bob, impicitly accept this, and acknowledge they have created a monster with BoB.
The situation in venal and pureblind is, as i see it, this...
EC-P8R - usually gatecamped by DIE , NEMESIS AND KROM. All 3 of these corps are pirates, whatever excuses nemesis use to say they arent. They have also seen to work in conjuncion with ASS (armoured assassins). All these pirate corps to my knowledge have BoB as +10 settings.
LONETREK Corridor - from Nonni - saranen the route is blockaded (usually now in Aunenen) by Ass who have extremely effectively killed the route off.
PURE BLIND - patrolled by Roughnecks. This corp ARE PIRATES. They are mostly ex- moo and have attacked nsa fu and neutrals without provocation.
BoB in my experience of the area, therefore, not only operate with pirates (including ATUK) but actively condone pirate activity.
In no way whatsoever has any "freedom" been gained from the war (neither hasd there been a party  )
It is therefore, with a heavy heart and implicit acceptance that i was part of the creation of this, that the only concusion that can be drawn form this, is that BoB is a new CA. This is undoubtably true. Dont get me wrong, i still have a great deal of respect for the whole of BoB for pulling this great coup off but it leaves a sour taste in the mouth.
My further conclusion of the situation is this. As BoB is the new CA they should be treated as such. I would invite, encourage and personally assist any anti-pirate corps / alliances to attack them in any way they can.

TBH i find most this post hipercritical.
Like some pirate corps have BOB set +10 and bob contains pirates.NO SH*T the official NSA stance was "condoning" it about 3 weeks ago because you had half those corps in BOB to +10.
Now that they are attacking you OMG there wrong..but if there our friends OMG they the good guys.
Yes they are the bad guys some are pirates. What are they? an enermy you trying to do a JF the way they tried to make the PA look ebil and all that crap,(although in this case they are ebil at self admitance not the good guys). tell me will we get some BS accusations that BOB is hiring mercs that 1 week later join your alliance or some crap?
All in all though its got feck all to do with any one else TBH cept the ppl who are fighting em.

Will do Evolution is about fun, so is BoB and I think everybody else who plays EvE plays to have fun.
