Edited by: DHU InMe on 28/11/2004 22:34:43 It cost me 4553isk for an 4480 value mineral
Micro Capacitor Battery and 1000loyalty point.
It not good enough.
By accepting the deal, I didn't make money, i event lost some. I have 100% ref skill and standing, I lose 73isk/module. I had 276 gift.
20k net loss + 1000 loyalty (at 160LP/mission, it make around 7 missions). Not bad itself, but no one buying those crapy modules anyway.
You should cut somewhere in the evaluation of those modules like a good 20% (3584 +896isk/module profit on recycling. 247k)of recycling, so even if it not good modules, you still make some $. No one FORCED you to accept the offer...you lose nothing for turning it down.
I got offered a 200mm Hybrid for a vast amount of Guristas Tags and Loyalty points...
/me thinks for a microsecond...
NO!

Edited by: dabster on 29/11/2004 09:43:02 I got 133 toxic waste (illegal to carry around) for 25 loyalty points, this from an agent that i had done 1 random mission for at some time of boredom. It was borked so i never got to read the offer and i hope it didnt cost me more than all 25 lp's PS. I didnt have any items at that station so i didnt really care that i got no details. ___________________________ Chicks dig Brutor's |

By not taking some of the offers then you can save up loyalty points for a better deal later on. For example skill books and better ships.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

Of course you can turn offers down, but since they should be either lucrative or cool, and until now most of them are neither, there seems to be a discrepancy... non?

Edited by: Grey Area on 29/11/2004 10:32:37 It amazes and saddens me how many people are SO impatient in this game. "My first offer wasn't for a Tech 2 BP0 with a +7 implant thrown in free of charge so I'm gonna WHINE about it".
Geez, people, give it TIME.
LOYALTY points. Look up the definition. How is it rewarding loyalty if the agents give out cool offers to every Tom, Richard or Harry who happens to do one or two missions for him? ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. Yo misinterpreted my post.
I didn't ask for tech 7 stuff, but: Every offer should either be cool or lucrative.
Meaning: An offer either
- requiring more input minerals/ISK/materials than the output sells for or
- giving a cheap mundane item
shouldn't be offered at all. When you think that a lvl 3 agent gives several thousand ISK as a bonus reward for a single mission, the bonus reward for multiple missions should be worth more (or be cooler). I can wait for those, and wait for a long time...
I'd gladly spend lots of millions for a 'Steinroehder's small modal neutron blaster I'
At least you shouldn't be suffering a financial loss from accepting offers, and no, being able to turn those down is no excuse for them being there in the first place
Cheers,

named slaves or stuff would be nice for amarr as a useless but funny reward! i'd like to see customized stuff like this in the game too.
minmatar could get a colored khumaak or whatever aso.

The man has a point though... you people need to pay attention. He isn't expecting amazing loot rewards out of his agents offer, but the offers should at least be beneficial. If my agent offers me 60k ISK for 100LP and 5 of some item that costs 50k each, whats the point of the offer in the first place?

What the first poster is trying to say is that the amount of LPSs+other stuff you have to give your agent arent worth the reward youd get at all. Big reward or small, youre always paying to much.
Of course, high up stuff like faction ships can be worth quite a lot, so dunno there.
The offers ive seen for normal items up to now where funny
If only my agent would offer me Anything. 3k LP and still no offers. I dont care if the offer is worthless, i wanna get one ---------------------------

Yea right, someone understand something. Why such an invaluable offer had to be gave to some loyal agent runner ?
There already unvaluable blueprint original of cheap small ammo, or small/micro modules.

Thank you! That's precisely what I was thinking about the whole time I was reading this thread. Did it ever occur to anyone (besides Grey Area and myself) that the agent might be trying to pull a fast one on you? These guys are offering you side jobs on their own. They are not official missions for the corporation. Wouldn't it be logical to think that there might be a little self-interest on the part of the agent for some of these missions? Ok, that might be a little bit of a stretch, but it's a reasonable explanation for why some of these offers stink. I've turned down 3 offers already. My agent has wanted LP's in exchange for worthless Tech 1 modules. I realized all I could do with those modules was refine them, and I would be better off keeping my LP's, so I turned them down.
Would there be any sense to having super duper uber offers every time? The economy is imbalanced enough as it is. The solution is to either create boat loads of crap offers, with the occasional super duper one thrown in, or to have only super duper offers, but have to wait an eternity to get one. Now, which would you rather have?

The loot stinks because of buggy code.
I like the fact that there are some seriuous die hards here who would RP the situation.
But let's face facts:
1) Deadspace missions bugged.
2) Important missions bugged. The level 3 missions refer you to level 1 important missions and give level 1 rewards 20k or +1 implant.
3) Feature or bug not sure but sometimes important missions come back to back now. Of course since the reward is useless and the faction gain is 1/8 what it used to be, no big loss.
4) LP offers are likely the wrong level as well. I was offered a 125mm compressed rail from a level 3 agent.
You guys can RP that agents are trying to screw people over or whatever you want. I see bugs in the code, to each their own.
