♥♥♥ You can do it! ♥♥♥
I'm making this thread because I'm tired of all the flack the Ebank directors are catching for someone else's mistake. Over the last year I've seen nothing but hate, vitriol and raw nerdrage spewed over the interwebs at these fine upstanding members of our community. I think it's time we band together and let Ebank know that we think they're doing the right thing, and we believe in their ability to execute a full recovery.
I just want to thank the following people for their hard work, grit and determination in the face of such adversity:
Amarr Citizen 155 Athre Omber Zombie Ray McCormack SencneS

I think it's great that a group can stick to their guns despite all of the input, evidence, and now experience that is lined up against them. MD needs more public figures who are prepared to persevere with no end or goal in sight. Such stamina! Such fortitude!
I only wish I had the opportunity to have my funds temporarily donated by these exemplary directors to themselves to use in pursuit their own self-aggrandizement, then I would have been part of something important.
Here's to another year of meandering yet dogged progress! |

Setrak,
I have to say, I expected better from you. This is exactly the kind of basement-dweller behavior that this thread is intended to counter. The folks at ebank deserve our support, they're working hard to look out for the little guys that Ricdic so cruelly robbed. You really should apologize for your behavior. |

I was being supportive of the actions they've taken and continue to take, as well as their reasons for doing so. I suggest you reread my post.
Unless you are suggesting that I was being disingenuous with my kind words, in which case I bid you good day, sir, and I warn you (ingame) to not further test my manners as a gentleman. |

Let us pray it does not come to that...or worse. After serving our Queen in the Second Afghan Campaign, and witnessing many terrible atrocities there, I swore on my Christian soul that I would avoid violence and bloodshed whenever possible.
However, if someone were to think that I would sit idly by while the good name I have inherited from my honorable forefathers since time immemorial was thuggishly and cravenly sullied, they would be wrong. Quite wrong indeed! |

Dethmourne once kicked a man so hard, it killed all of his extended family and most of his friends.
The incident has since been refered to as Christmas. |

All the MD/EBank big-wigs have been chased out of town over some silly scandal? Someone catch me up if you don't mind, please.
Edit: Just took a second look and I guess MD isn't nearly quite as dead as I had been thinking, but still... |

Men, it's been a long war, it's been a tough war. You've fought bravely, proudly for your bank. You're a special group. You've found in one another a bond that exists only in banking, among brothers. You've shared cashier tills, held each other in dire moments. You've seen death and suffered together. I'm proud to have been served at your cashier tills by each and every one of you. You all deserve long and happy lives in peace.

LOL! epic I know that was a quote from "Band of Brothers" the miniseries... but I believe it's also a true quote from the actual German officer at that surrender ceremony.
(Though in the miniseries on HBO they screwed up and used the wrong word for foxholes). |

Ostrich Bank:
If you collect vintage banks and like different, this guy may be for you!! He is a baby ostrich hatching right out of his egg. You lift him up and there is the coin slot in the egg. The egg and chick are done in a bisque finish. It seems that someone along the way has applied the white wash finish to the chick. One chip on the base of his neck and the bisque egg has some dirt from the years but he shows off well!! On his plastic stopper it is marked Robroy and the number 650. He is probably from Australia, circa 60's-70's. A souvenir from Down Under who made the trip to Hawaii!! Approx. 4 1/2" by almost 6" and to the top of his head 9". Thanks for dropping by!!
