The "HAC", better known as "Holy Armed Cow" is probably the most unbalanced ship in the entire game. All HACs are generally underpowered for several reasons.
a. HACs are outperformed by BCs whivh cost LESS THAN THEY DO! b. HACs are waaaaayyyy too expensive to be of value. c. They lack the DPS to take on other HACs with a guaranteed win.

I believe that +5 implants are the cause of serious issues in the game. Let me list...
1. Bad implant prices for lower grade ones. 2. You can only get them from faction stores for sale on market. 3. They prevent peeps from pvping cuz they wont jump clone.
Soz.... 1. We need to increase implant lp costs by 5x across the board. ~

So that's why I keep losing fights, other people have ships that are guaranteed wins!

No that's not right,
You keep losing because your hack doesn't have the DPS to take on other HACs that are the same as yours.
Get it?

Exactly! Your HAC is so bad it can't win against the other HAC, and the other HAC is so bad that it can't win against you, so you both lose. They're so bad that the lossitude spreads to everything around them!1!2 That's not just bad – it's bad²! ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

Solution: 1) Open market tab 2) Look up the skill book 'Heavy Assault Ships' 3) Don't buy it

Confirming HACs are utterly useless. In fact, I'm petitioning my alliance leadership to switch over to battle indies (Battle Badgers are good, but we need maximum ship diversity).
The ability to deal higher damage than BCs at 90+km and burn out of bubbles 25-50% faster than BCs are totally redundant. Lag permitting, mobility on the field is completely pointless. No battle has ever been lost due to an inability to get away from hostile tackling paraphenalia.

Hac's just have a different role then BCs and that role is mobility. Some people would pay extra (like myself) to have the dps of a bc and the mobility of a cruiser. Also op ignore the haters in ur thread, I've never seen such a failed attempt at trying to be funny.

"HACs are underpowered."
"HACs can't take out other HACs with a guaranteed win."
Before you post again, let those 2 statements run through your head a few times, and when you catch the flaw in your logic, don't post again.

LOL @ the OP.
I remember buying one of the first Deimos and being *****ed at for being overpowered. Likewise with the cloud of death a maxed-skills Ishtar brought.
The only thing I would say is their relative power versus cost is a bit steep. Of course, I say that just coming back to the game after a long while off and having no income stream at the present :) Sucks that I missed the expansion with the guaranteed win module. I guess those got nerfed?

Natural progress would suggest we've found cheaper ways to produce these by now, lowering the requirements of the components previously gone to waste or been otherwise excessive.

kind of like how the CIA used to have peeps shave the metal frame on their sattelites to the bare minimum without compromising structural strength to lower launch costs? Seriously they went in with nail files and crap and shaved as much metal off as they could lol.
On a more relevant note, HACs really should be down to 70-90m by now max. Honestly, when I first started playin 3 years ago they actually cost LESS than they do now!
Since its givin me that 2 minute timer crap, im gonna sit here and hit some random smileys and try again:

Hi there, troll OP.
I'm just in this thread to confirm that I, too, want a ship with a win-guarantee. In fact, I want a WTFPWN Jove HAC.

Vagabonds, Vagabonds and yet more vagabonds, the bloody things are everywhere, ran into a HAC gang yesterday with a BC/Bs heavy gang yesterday, counted like 5-7 vagabonds all in all.
SO 1. HAC's aren't underpowered, some are just not meeing their possible potential. and 2. they do cost a hefty price, but one explanation to why your vagabond sucks is that you may not have the skillpoint to be able to fit one properly, i am sure you are fitting t1 guns on your HAC's :P
anyway, some hac's are fine some could use some small help, but the top ones i'd say right now comes in this order. Vagabond - Selfaxplanatory Ishtar - Quite selfexplanatory aswell Deimos - Good dps bonuses, offers a good tank and a MWD bonus, all in all a very good HAC.
