I assume CCP intends this live alliance tournament broadcast to have a wider audience than just Eve PVP veterans:
- Massively linked to it so some of the audience will be MMO gamers but not Eve players
- It will be archived on YouTube for curious potential Eve players
- General interest sites like Digg etc. might link to it
- Etc.
Therefore, the commentators have to keep things lively and explain what's going on at a fairly basic level, in real time. Given those criteria, she's doing fine.

Commenting the matches means telling you what you are seeing anyway - it's part of the entertainment .. same as a soccer commentator.
And let's face it .. stuff happens again and again and you have to fill in the phases commenting whether there is something actually worth mentioning or not.
To EVE bashing the commentators/participants is the same as beer and chips to soccer, who are you guys kidding. The very same guys complaining here are the same guys that will tune in next time just to have the opportunity to complain again.
And you'll like it.

2) Whatever you do, be SURE Brianna is a commentator throughout 100% of the rest of the Alliance Tournement! There's a LOT of little CRY BABIES around here that need to learn to HTFU or GTFO!

On a lighter note, I thought her commentary about bombers doing "a ****-load of damage" was funny. Screw the FCC!
