I love you guys..... first of all big props for the malice 4x...... However
You guys needed DPS. You had neuts and tackle but not the ability to kill anything. 8( |

I think they had beams on those Malices (looked like Aurora crystals). Kinda low dps.
But fantastic match regardless! |

No. Would have been a great setup by PL if they had to face somethign else than projectile weapons. Any blaster, laser, missile or jamming setup would have gone down against PL.
Just bad luck.
Congrats Rote Kapelle. Awesome job!!

Yea not sure where Soundwave got the idea that another team can outright deny us the access to the next rounds, as far as I personally understand the rules we have that honor ourselves by fighting RvB last.
If we can curbstomp them while denying them a certain number of points then the 3 way tie would come down to points (assuming that RK win their match as well), which we have the ability to control in our final match.
But yea, the old heart was havin a rough time watching that match. |

Wonder how closely eve is going to watch the KIWF match. If they are found to be throwing, that means tourney boots. PL too if caught. I think there might be some meta, but hopefully they won't risk buying off. |

Great fight, hope to see those Malices again. What is the story with the Bhaalgorn setup, were you expecting vindicators, but instead got sleipnirs? or did you expect to win regardless? Nyan Cat Pirate Recruitment

yes, and if you win with max points and RvB gets at least 36, rote is out. If my math is right. |

If we beat RvB that would make the top 3 guys 2 and 1, and if we REALLY beat RvB we'll be ahead on points, so then if we win and stomp them fully then they wouldn't have the points to break a w/l tie with us as we'd be ahead by about 40 points or so.
Now, if we win, but they still get like 50-60 points, AND Rote wins then we're in trouble, and any form of loss to RvB of course would put us completely out of the tourney, which while that might suck wouldn't really be a terrible thing for the tourney or the field of dudes in it this year. Most of the contenders this year are fresh faces (maybe not the pilots in the teams but the teams themselves) that people aren't used to seeing, thats not a bad thing even if I DO want my team to win.

If I understand the somewhat confusingly written rules:
If Rote wins, RvB wins: Rote and RvB advance. If Rote wins, RvB loses, with Rote getting more than 89.5 points next week than RvB: Rote and PL advance If Rote wins, RvB loses, Rote gets less than 89.5 points more than RvB (for example, RvB earns at least 36): RvB and PL advance If Rote loses, RvB wins, Rote score greater than 39 points more than PL: Rote and RvB advance If Rote loses, RvB wins, Rote fails to score greater than 39 points than PL: RvB and PL advance

Saved the best for last, amirite. I think if we win play that match 10 times, we win 4 or 5 times. Still, a good showing from Rote. Looking forward to the surprising RvB next weekend. ~ |

Kill it with Fire cannot advance.
Right, if we win tomorrow we're through no matter what i think, because then the same deal would apply to RvB that we're currently in with Rote where it doesn't matter how many points we have because in a w/l tie in the bracket personal match losses are considered before points. So Rote beat us, so it doesn't matter how many points we have, in a w/l tie we lose to them because we lost a match to them, if we beat RvB we'll be in the same position there only in reverse, where RvB will have the same w/l record as us but have lost to us so they'd lose by default regardless of points.
Its like some crazy wizardry and its entirely possible that either me or soundwave are wrong.

Yea you would think in a situation where every team nullifies every team with the internal win rule, and they all have a w/l tie points are the only deciding factor thats undistorted so that should be the end factor.
Will not be shocked if wrong, nor butthurt, our bracket turned out to be the most competitive
