or possibly its the same ice as the ice used in the G.I. Joe movie

Ouu or they could have frozen whatever their drinking into ice cubes, which isn't water because u can clearly see its carbonated. And when u freeze carbonated drinkes generally it releases the gas making it more dense then the drink itself when u use them. Hence they tend to sink.

The icecube was melting so it's density was getting closer to 0 C¦ water's density (0.9998425 g/cm^3 in standard state) which is still lower than liquid water's density close to freezing point - that's why generally you don't see water ice sink.
However you usally don't drink drinks close to freezing point. Water's density starts to decrease again above ~3.98 C¦. For the melting icecube to be able to sink Angel HUN's water had to be atleast ~8.15 C¦ (0.9998419 g/cm^3).
Alternative: Angel HUN was drinking ethanol-water compound above ~50 (m/m)% (for Et-OH).

Right, now explain what is happening to the ice right now, your theory might have worked before but does it still hold up?'
Also, how can one glass be reverse?

Or, the ice cubes aren't actually made of ice.
But rather, made of plastic cubes made to look like ice.
I would have thought the LED lights inside them would have been a clue :)

Plastic Ice-cubes with water in them ... when they warm up they sink to the bottom as their density changes. Hooray for "reusable" ice-cubes!
That is my guess anyway

they clearly are void of airbubbles because cubes are so clear, so either reusable cubes like was said or some way of freezing them under pressure keeping air voids after

Yup, my bet is on plastic ice cubes, filled with water that is initially frozen. They're good for drinks that you don't want diluted by having a real ice cubes melting in your drink (thus watering it down). When the water inside the plastic melts the plastic cube is denser than the water and thus sinks.

Perhaps that's not water in that glass. Benzene, for example, has a much mower density than ice (and is transparent, like water). Water ice should float in benzene.

There wasn't any water left in the glass, the other ice cubes were holding each other on top against the side of the glass except for the lone one at the bottom that decided to not partake in the team play

They were LED coasters. You can get perfectly clear ice cubes by agitating them during the freezing process, this releases all trapped air bubbles, so you don't get that white 'fuzz' in the middle. Using distilled water is also a part of it, as you wont freeze the minerals and 'floaties'. The ice was just ice...the coasters where just coasters....with LEDS. This is all just CCP smoke and mirrors to make them appear technologically superior.....to your fridge's ice maker If they can make hi-tech ice cubes, serious internetz spaceship bizznizz is a cakewalk =P

orrrr.......the ice cube just got fed up of being an ice cube and physics telling it what it can and cannot do and took the opportunity to go rogue on eve tv!

if ice is -10 C and the water is +22 C ice will sink cause of the density, this is only when its pure water. mostly we have colder ice and less warm liquid so it floats.
i quess they drink geyser water with almost melted ice cubes at ccp.

It's denser than liquid water. |
