It doesn't seem like there's much condensation on the glasses. Perhaps the water is at room temperature, and it's not really ice at all?

Wait maybe its not water or soda. Does ice float in liquor. I.E. Vodka. I'm fresh out and can't test this theory. And if it doesn't maybe that's why all of Bri's ice didn't float she was drinking straight Vodka. And Angel Hun may have had a mixed drink of soda 7up or sprite mixed with Vodka.

There is only one explanation ( except gluing them to the bottom of the glass). That ice cubes density was larger than water. Can be easily accomplished by adding some chemical that is clear and not harmful to consume which will increase the ice's density once frozen together with water.
If I am right do I get a job with CCP? :D

Originally by: WredStorm Yup, my bet is on plastic ice cubes, filled with water that is initially frozen. They're good for drinks that you don't want diluted by having a real ice cubes melting in your drink (thus watering it down).
You mean that the commentators didn't want to dilute their water, watering their water down?
I mean, that surely was water, wasn't it....

Think you are on to something here, the trick is to not put water in the glass!

The light focused from the spots above created light pressure that affected the quantum entanglement of the ice/water/vapour triphasic system disrupting local intensive properties

I'll have to go with this, it seems more likely than some silly science/darwinism based theory.
