I am so use to saying this instead of 24/7 in RL ofc, causes quite a bit of raised eyebrows like im part of some cult or something.
Anyone else use to saying 23/7 instead of 24/7?

I use 1440/7. That one really confuses some people.

Does anyone know if CCP will be reimbursing lost skill training time?
I read that the original time was from 09:00UTC to 15:00UTC but my skills finished at 20:00UTC (give or take an hour), since eve's been down not been able to sort skills. Would be good if someone can shed some light on this :)

If people who lost skill time get reparations for being irresponsible, I a responsible denizen of EVE, demand in all fairness that I receive the equal amount of reparation in the form of home baked cookies.

Always set at least a 2 day long, preferably 3+ skill when upgrades occur. Learn from your mistake.

You just got reimbursed with the very valuable lesson that when CCP are doing *anything* with the server that isn't standard downtime, you set a long skill that lasts training several days to weeks longer than the event is predicted to take.

Yeah, i have no skills training since around the time it went down... i was away for 2 days, and didnt hear about the big move untill it was too late...
Would have appreciated more warning then the day you gave us >.>

I had a skill of 1.5 day when I logged of on tuesday evening 10pm but it ended this morning (thursday 9 am) thats almost 2 days who expected this that it would take almost 2 days to fix?
I think my training time should be reimbursed.

The original time clearly states 09:00UTC to 15:00UTC so in theory any skill should have been fine as long as it finished after 15:00, stop chatting **** sayin people you were warned to set longs skills because NO people where no WARNED that the downtime would continue to the 30hr+ mark.
This guy is asking a genuine question, stop slating him grow up and get a life.
SONICLE the best you can to mate is petition it, and they will make their own decision. Dont listen to single minded tunnel visioned a*******.

Future reference, put on a 3-7day skill min, it's Normal for CCP to run over & over and over....
CCP never reimburse skill time for their server status being unavailable, fact.

I did set a 20ish hour skill and thought "Something will go wrong" and added another skill for 18hrs... DO you think that was enough? NO!.. thats almost x7 more time then the initial DT time.

I fully support this. I suggest that we take this up with the CSM. Any extended down time past the original posted down time and CCP shall be required to reimburse us all with a coupon for free cookies!
