Correct me if im wrong but isn't this "one-off" ship 'Safe' in High-Sec Empire Space?
You say they will get ganked and yet CCP declared that High-Sec-Gankathons using hit and run tactics without war deccing is deemed forbidden and thus shows some sort of safety for using it in High-Sec!
P.S - CCP, thanks for the ship. Don't listen to those who complain that it isn't good enough. However I would like it if you could gift stuff every few months. Next time a Jump Freighter? Orca? Hmm! |

Not so much forbidden, just not profitable.
You can gank someone in high sec before Concord appears as long as you have enough DPS. It just means you take a sec status hit, and lose your ship once Concord shows up to dispense some pwnage on you. |

No, instead you'll bring us some more s**t expansions, with crap content, and if I hear someone say they are free again i'll kill them. CCP has a monthly turnover of at least 3 million euros. ITS NOT FREE. What do they do with it? They waste our time on some worthless EVE Gate social bollox. Turn this into a salvager and seed BPOs you gormless idiots...

I would like this to be a permenant market addition too, so new players who join EVE can work on PI straight away.
I hope it has enough PWR grid to run a MWD or it will be useless in lowsec!

Even though after 4 years of industry and mining I swore I'd never do it again I still find the ORE ships the best looking ships in the game. Hope this one has moving parts

Until July 13th???!!!  I'm stuck out here in the middle of the ocean on deployment with extrememly limited internet, can't use the local internet with personal computers, and can't log in to claim my present. Is there any way CCP can take into account those that still keep an active account even though they can't login to play. Maybe something along the lines of an auto claim or put the ships in my hanger for me?

Nice to see someone appreciates all the hard work that CCP put into undoubtably one of the best MMORPG's in history. Its a free gift you dont have to take it. You dont have to use EVE gate and you dont have to shoot your mouth off like some ungrateful spoilt brat.

A LP BPC would be perfectly fine. An industrial faction ship would be a great. Then at least you could undock the thing.

Very nice looking ship and awesome that CCP gives it to us for free, however I'd opt to make this a produce-able ship as well  .

At the moment it isn't reproducible with BPO's or other means. And I'm not aware of any solid plans for the return of the gift ships.
I know Art would like to see them more frequent because a lot of blood, sweat, tears and chocolate cake goes into making a ship.
You should still take them out and about though even if you risk getting blown up, otherwise it is a very unhappy ship never seeing space but just your hangar.

If the ship's secondary cargobay had a capacity of 30k m3 for PI materials only then you would see the value of this ship rise drastically. The only other way the ship would be seriously used if there would be BPO/C's to build it. But since neither of those are going to happen then it can only really be a colletor's item realistically.
This ship is easily replacable with a badger mark II so it isn't all that useful

What it is really sad is that has to work hard on a ship like this, that if the image looks like, it will be great, so then do not want to lose because there will be no more.
I've already lost my Zephyr by a pirate with smartbombs at empire, it is really sad I can no longer return to a not to be paying a million for a ship that is not worth it.
In my opinion, is better giving away ships really useful and get a bpo. A bpo that would be a good gift, one more ship for the fleet since long time ago.
