I don't complain, I make constructive posts. Unlike a certain someone named Marc. It isn't a ridiculous idea, but probably not goin to happen...
Why would anyone ***** anymore than they already do?

CCP has compensated people in the past for excessive downtimes. If they feel their downtimes are excessive, they will add a day to everybody's accounts, like before.

Guess we could let CCP compensate us, but then we also need to let them charge us all $30 for the Exodus patch like most other teams do with expansions.

Personally, I am not sweating it and if you are, you should quit and save yourself that $.50 a day so you can buy yourself 2 whole gumballs a day at the corner store. Or better yet, save it up so, one day, you too can buy yourself a beer and chill out.
Too many whiners whining about stupid things on these boards.

Check out the server status on Eve-i.com. In the last year, the servers have been unavailable for a total of 19d and 10m, thats an average of 75 minutes per day. Take off the hour per day of DT, and on average the servers have been unavailable an extra 15m per day more than CCP have said they should be. 15m in 23 hours means CCP has managed a 98.9% serever up time over the last year. Now allow for the fact that in that time we have had Castor upgrade, Exodus upgrade and at least 2 server downs which I can remember weren't CCP's fault, and I would say they are doing a pretty good job of it. I can also remember CCP giving at least once and maybe twice in that time a free day to every player because the servers were down.
At $14.95 per month, over the last year, a 98.9% uptime means that at most you have missed out on $1.97 worth of playing time.
So, to anyone who thinks 98.9% uptime for an online game isn't good enough, I have 3 things to say
a) Get a life
b) Get real
c) STFU

Hmm, I find it abhorrent that when there's a downtime of 1 second over the stated 3600 seconds (1 hour for the dumba$$es  ) people are on the forums spamming cr@p about wanting refunds and suchlike. Eve is up (generally) 150-160 hours per week in which time I'm sure you can mine velspar, scam n00bs or kick the cr@p out of each other to your hearts content.
I have a feeling that the people who whine and complain the most are those who's life revolves around EVE which is truly sad!
To sumerise; get a grip, get a life, STFU and quit annoy me during my dinner hour!

The server is back up after downtime well within the hour on many days. Sometimes it is only down for 15 minutes.
Add all this up and we probably owe them.
