If you still update this guiide, one typo "Im talking about volumn" instead of volume(unless that's a UK thing).
Also, I believe gang members can no longer attack each other. Not sure when that changed, I'm a new player, but it's what I've heard from people in-game.

Edited by: Azure Areth on 09/03/2007 17:06:56 It is really difficult for me to try taking advice about Trading from someone who cant spell it correctly. For years now, i've been trying to truly understand whether or not it was profitable for me to buy low and sell high, but you made it clear that it was, and i thank you for it.

Thanks to the OP and thanks to Algorithm 6!
Just wondering if there's going to be an update to this thread making it more current?
Specifically with regard to non-commodity/module trading.
Thanks.

Well thanks again..
Ive thought about doing another "update" since its been such a long time, and ive learned a few things since then. My RL has me currently over a barrel atm though so I don't know if it would be very soon.tm
Id be intrested in what people would most like to see, however..

Great guide, first. I used it to earn the first few millions before I went on to pvp-markets.
If you're planning an update, it'd be great if you would update it to Revelations, above all. Some terms and glossaries are way ood, and thus can be confusing to new players.
As a second priority, you could create a whole new guide to pvp-trade (if you have any experiences in that, of course, I haven't really read the whole thread. ). Such a long-time player like you surely should have some tricks up his sleeve to share with us.
That's just my wishes. I look forward to your updates or next guide. ___________________

It was indeed a very good piece of work. I am training an alt to become a miner/trader at the moment and this was really helpful thank you very much.

This is a completely serious answer that may not sound that way, but the price something is supposed to be is the price you can sell it for/that someone will buy it for.
Basically, the price is decided by you, your buyer and both of your competition. The best way to figure out what that price is, is through experience. As others have said in many excellent posts on this topic, pick an item you use frequently and try trading it in limited amounts. Once you get a feel for that item, try a different one. Continue until you've reached your level of interest/desired profitability/etc.
