Just wanted to say that I finally tried PI the other day. It was fun to set it up... for about 5 minutes.
After millions spent and many many clicks I've made a grand total of 80k isk!
Granted I'm doing it in highsec, and I would try it in 0.0 but since the last time I was in 0.0 I blackscreened when I undocked in a system with 5 alliance m8's in it I...hesitate...to go back.
Maybe it'd be more profitable in a wh, but with the extra logistics involved I don't think so.
I really can't see how eve online TYRANNIS can get a vote as best since the main feature of TYRANNIS (not eve online) is pretty damn lame.
Symantics? Maybe, but if the op asked to vote for Eve Online, not Eve Online : Tyrannis, I probably would have given it a vote.

if you think you can expect them to do what their customers want you are mistaken. after 18 months they may or may not be ready to launch the incrana stuff. after that they spend another half year ironing out its worst bugs, then they adjust their manpower to the vampire thing and dust and maybe the one or other guy goes to fixing eve. so we rather look at 2 or 3 years til they might consider rewriting the old code.
actually we might say the main manpower of ccp atm works on wod and its side product incarna. not the other way round.

I may be incorrect but CCP have got several projects running and they're independent of eachother. As far as I know the only way they overlap is WoD and Incarna. Incarna is a test for the WoD engine and it'd better be DX10/11 or else it's going to be the biggest waste of money ever, because they've been working on it since 2003-4.

Great news. I was in a 200+ fleet fight in providence and I was still getting more than 6 fps. I took my computer for repair and was assured that it was working correctly. I then did a CCP.COM ping test and was under 35m/s. Now I was very concerned, what could be the problem. rest assured I then logged in and was delighted to find 38 in system but that the lag had been restored.
Please do not spend great sums of money on high spec machines or ISP's if you experience the same random anomoly. Take a short break, make a drink and log back in and you too will find the lag has been restored. If you find when travelling you dont get queued or a ravel warning, waiting for 3 minutes for the next system to load only to wake up in your home station please consider a petition for a bug. if its not happening to you the game is not playing the way CCP intended and they need to know.
