To be exact, this it the changes on test:
"By the way, I just gave autocannons 20% better tracking, artilleries 15% more damage and optimal range and howitzers 15% more damage on the test server. Ya mon, let's see if this fixes projectiles."

K apears that using the main eve folder for testing on sisi isnt a good idea after all. The module stats from sisi somehow got carried over to TQ
Hence the mixup inn the Turret stats -------------------------------------------------> What I look forward to is continued immaturity followed by death.

fix megapulse damage mod and things will be better.
completely stupid they gave it beam mod in the first place, they should have fixed it the day after.

How clearer can CCP make it they have NO CLUE whatsoever about whats wrong with artillery guns? The problem is that there are whole ranges and ship classes artillery cannot hit at all, 15% additional damage in the instances it can hit fine is just gonna lead to more clueless people crying about how they where hit for 1xxx damage by a 1400, wich is what lead to the current problems to start with.

hopefully CCP will now ignore that or people will see, that it is A NORMAL for a gun hitting only all 20 secs basically to do the highest dmges ingame, but lets see....

I think all autocannons should get a ROF + ammo capacity increase even faster hail of fire from 4 autocannons would sound even cooler pluse it would bump the damage, and then the 15% on artilleries seems like an awesome thing

well if they increased the tracking on a large artillery to the point where it could track and hit a frigate orbiting at 1k then it would just be crazy. what would be the point of autocannons then?
artillery are good for long range, and long range only. if they increase the dmg then maybe you can kill stuff while it is still incoming, before it gets to the point you can no longer hit it. and use 1-2 autocannons to take out the small ships that get in close, which your artillery were never and should never be designed to hit with any consistancy.

The changes are good, except for these guns: 1200mm and 1400mm medium and small have never been bad, and this puts em up to par with the hybrids/lasers imo the change should make large ac's a decend choice but for the large artilleries... what can I say... *seigh*
common CCP! dmg is not the problem with arties!!!
