Amazing game, just has a few points where it needs fixing up.
Then there's lag, which CCP is working on, gf on the effort, now let's get results.

This topic's question is worthless. What exactly does constitute a "good job" anyway ? Is it "not bad" or is it "can't be better", maybe somewhere in between, but where exactly ? Also, is it right now, in the recent past, or overall since they started ?
Obviously, they are doing a decent enough job overall, otherwise the game and forum would not exist. Obviously, they are not doing the best job, because it's practically impossible to always please everybody.
So, the answer to the question posted by the OP can AT BEST be either highly subjective or very shortsighted. In other words, worthless.

To be honest, CCP is actually doing a good job. EVE is still on course of continuous growth and expansion. Although there are still annoying issues and bugs in EVE, it's understandable that the bugfixing is a kind of expansion in itself. CCPs focus atm seems to be to deliver their due promises from the past.

They are doing fine. There are things that i dont like but thats the way it has been in every game iŠve ever played. IŠve been here since 2006 and dont plan to go somewhere else so it seems i like EvE ;)

I think they are doing a good job, but have lost focus. Trying too hard to implement new stuff and making game worse, instead of focusing on what they have currently and making it better

Constructive.
EVE's perfect for the majority of players. Overall, complaints have been from 1+9 % of users actually visiting the forums. I'm going to guess that's less than significant for CCP to even give a crap, especially with most comments more or less representing what you just wasted my screen space with.
And I agree. It would take too much resources to try to keep an insignificant population happy. Insignificant as in no change on the bottom line. Dust on the other hand will most likely make investments back within a few weeks and generate some damn good PR as in being the first of it's kind (nothing like some obscure online mag trying to make a story with forum quotes, lol). Incarna will in my opinion at least increase EVE's subscriber base by 50%, if not more.

EVE is good. Every game has it flaws.
I just chose not to be so nitpicky.
Pro's of eve greatly outweigh the minimal con's. *

Not with the so-called '10 percent' drumming up bad publicity it won't.

Still doesn't change the fact that CCP are more and more taking the game in directions that is against its own majority player base, meaning it will slowly lose its majority playerbase. It is not by far, just a minority as you try to make it out to be.
CCP used to make decisions on quality rather than quantity, and what was good for the game instead of what is popular or flavour of the month like most cookie cutter MMO's. I guess things change.

Some statistics would be nice. What percentage of the subscribers don't plan on renewing their subscriptions? And those that will renew but only because they hope their problems will be fixed soon, how long are they planning to wait?

We here at CCP can confirm a massive drop in subscription numbers. Today I got the latest statistics showing 11 people had cancelled their 1 year subscription plan. They had no intentions of renewing their subscription before it runs out sometime in 2011. The uproar against CCP continues and today I got an email from a customer saying he would only keep 4 of his 6 accounts logged on from now on as a sign of protest against the direction we at CCP are taking.
