The ship you are piloting is too damaged to be handled in space. You do not have the skill to manage it in its current state.
Iam stuck in a station... The station nott have any repair thing.. and i cant undock and do some repair..
HOW?
What skill?

The "skill" isn't meant in the context of a "skillbook", it's meant as in "the ability to". Funny message, haven't seen it ever.

I have had it with my drones a few times too, they were to damaged to obey my commands. Don't know of anything that would solve the problem, I just kill the drones myself then.

I know what's wrong. The ship was propably flown by someone with a higher Mechanic skill than you, and damaged a lot. Let me put in some numbers to explain:

Ship has 1000 hull hp base. Pilot A has Mechanic L5 => 1250 hp. Ship takes 1200 damage. Player B has Mechanic L2 => 1100 hp. If Player B were to enter the ship it would have -100 hp.

To fix, find someone with a high Mechanic skill and get him to board it and repair Smile

Peace through love, understanding and superior firepower.

If it's armordamage, you could put an armorplate on your ship and then get the extra hp needed to get out.

Armor damage doesn't prevent you from undocking, only hull. The solution is to find someone with high mechanic skill take it and use hull repairers or take it to another station with a repair facility as stated above.

Edit: All of the modules that effect hull hp are based on percentages, so in theory if you could fit enough to counteract the negative damage you could undock. The modules are Reinforced Bulkheads.

It seems that since the last patch, whenever you exita ship it goes back to its base values.

My indy for example ejects all my giant cans and goes back to 6km3 cargo space whenever i select a diffrent ship.
So having Mechanic lvl 5 and 95% hull damage would mean that when you exit your ship it will get -something% hp.

Send in a petition, gms can fix the hull back to usable levels and dont forget a bug report. This bug was crushed quite some time ago and needs crushing again Razz

I know before exodus when my MOA was really damaged and i unfitted it's 400MM armour plates i couldn't use the ship. When i did put the armour plates back on i could use the ship. Seems to me also armour damage can prevent you from undocking (or is this changed after exodus ? )

I know someone had taken alot of hull damamge and ejected in space and count board the ship again because the ships basicly had 0% hull left. Like if you take alot of hull damage and only have 5% left its basickly your skills holding the ship togheter due to the hull bonus and when you leave the ship the bonus is terminated along with the rest of your ship. But since you are docked and can enter the ship I guess you could try with someone with higher skills or put on some modules that increases your hull
