Good read, I love the history involved.
Hope this helps get all of MF back on the track to the corp we all love to shoot at.

OMG, Naqq revealed the secret that no corp ever hired us to attack CLS in the first war! Loved that post where CLS was complaining about how a former E&B guild paid us to attack them, then after the battle, they said it was the most excitment they ever had, probably kept many of your members in game. Helped me feel better about it . I never knew about the not attacking CLS if they asked, although I told people not to pod kill them (first war only ).
And yes, I was partly dissappointed when I joined MF that we never really got contracts, but I sure as hell had fun shooting people. Was worth joining up, even though most of them hate me. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Good explanation Naqq :)
Ironically, the whole PF incident happened because we thought one of your pilots was trying to boss us around to the detriment of the contract.
I guess the moral of the story is that you should get to know a corp better before you try to cooperate with them on a contract. Then maybe misunderstandings could be avoided :S ----------------------------------------

Not bad Naqq. Seems as if the leadership of MF is fairly "on-track" with many things that you guys as a corp have received significant criticism for. Would like to see more of the apparent leadership attitude filtered down into the associates. ------------------------------------- // The views expressed by this poster are not the views of the poster's corporation, alliance, planet or television network... but they should be. |

That was a well written response to the public lampooning.
Still wouldn't a potential customer simply try one of the dozens of other merc corps rather than risk using MF with it's tarnished reputation?
If I may ask what steps are MF going to take to rectify its public image beyond this public disclosure of MFÆs bio and mission statement?

Could you make a short, action packed graphical version of this text for us to watch? Please do not forget including naked women or things could get ugly. --------------------------------------

I dunno about people leaving the game but that war did spawn some of our more senior pvpers as it was our first real war :)

I specifically remember some CLS people said that the war convinced them to stay in as it was better than E&B. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |

Naqq, I have always known you to be a level headed and innovative player. Your document indeed sheds some light on a few things. We too looked forward to working with MF at the beginning of the VOTF contract and I've stated many times that the reasons for the events that followed have been less than clear. If you wish, I'd welcome the oppertunity to hash out some of these issues and gain even more clarity, for both our sakes. Feel free to contact me in game anytime. -

At the time I thought are relationship with BDCI, was going to be a lasting and fun one, I spent many hours discusing this with my fellow directors.
Historicly though we don't work well ith others, perhaps this is what we need to work on.
