Since I have Target painter and sig radius to lvl 5 I thought that with a Kronos, tracking abiltiy, and webbers I could hit frigates at close range ( with large blasters at range 2400). I am wrong????????????????
I'm doing welll against smaller ships but, when I get BS in range it sucks for damage WTF!
1 there is a skill called sig radius in EVE?
2 yes you can hit frigate if you know to keep transversal at decent levels
3 for blasters a 2nd web will help you more than a target painter

I'll bite just incase this isn't a troll
firstly congrats on getting the Kronos!
secondly the blasters might be doing rubbish damage because your out of opitmal range and in fall off range, which will have a large impact with electron blasters, you have to be right on top of your target, with 3km if I remember correctly.
thirdly your fit could do with some work, the main suggestion I would make is to drop the electron blasters firstly the range is terrible even if the dps is good, the Kronos is a slow ship and chugging along to each NPC is going to take a while, and maybe think about switching back to those 425mm rails, you'll be in range sooner and you can apply your damage sooner which is more dps if you follow my drift. As for the rest of it, I'd suggest dropping that 1600mm plate, two of the hardeners and replace them with 1x t2 Damage Control little for the resists but mainly it for what it does for structure, its an expensive ship after all and 2x Mag Field Stabs for more damage or just go with 3x Mag Field Stabs.

To put MY THREAD to bed/rest! My lvl 4 Muarader with tech 1 lvl hybirds suxed! I did switch to 425 compresed coils and Im suprised!
Equiped with 2 fleeting webbers
a target painter 2 with sig radius at lvl 5
and a tech 2 cpu enhancer the guns claim 33 km optial range yet, anything within 10mm is destroyed.
Havnet seen INTYs yet in my LVL 4 missions, My goblonss should get em, with webs on.! Weird how I destroy frigs and when watcheing the notations at the top screen it still says my guns are missing them!

Why the hell to Gallente??!?
We can offer you 9% damage increase at the cost of 80% range! But, that is not all, we can offer active armour tanking at the cost of resists (helping buffer, active and RR fits)
With these short ranges, we add a bonus of extremely slow ships to boot.
Are you happy with your choice yet?

I have to agree with earlier mentioned "really troll or really that dumb" but there you go.
But to put some troll feed down:
I have been flying Kronos for over 2 years now (I know its the worst of the 4 but i think it's the most beautifull) and with 425mm's if you primary frigs on long range you need 1 gun per frig to make them pop.
Which means you kill 50% tot 100% of the frigs in any mission within 2 minutes.
I have tried identical DPS/RANGE and LVL SPEED fits op hyp, rokh, and kronos.
And don't know if it's because of 4 or 8 but kronos still seems to kill a bit faster then the hyp but not much in it indeed.
Fastest time i set for WC:
Kronos around 45 mins.
Hyperion can't do it under an hour but it's not just DPS there. (And got all skills on V so)
Anyway my 2 cents worth.

While trying many different set ups Ive decided much like the pilot above me to use 425s, and at range they do POP frigs in one shot. Haveing fun useing my Kronos and other alt in lvl 4 missions etc.

considering how you are incapable of taking damage per second and multiplying by rate of fire to see a real dps figure, could I recommend to you a machariel with artillery?
It can do around 14,000 damages each hit, and should make you literally cream your pants with excitement.
It will also use your gallente bs skills, although require training minmataar bs also.
