Just to confirm, AC wasn't before eBank. Can't speak for Ray but your point is valid. The longer this lasts, the lower their respective civility goes. It's a shame really, liked them both at one time.
I prefer the new speak your mind format we seem to have running recently, rarther than the massive spellchecked walls of text with obscure vocabulary of the past.
Atleast we all know where everyone stands with eachother now. Theres less 'MD elite' asshattery nowadays.
Edit: That's not to say I don't think people should post well thaught out and formatted posts, particularly new players. Atleast then we can see you show some communication skills.

Another don't get used to it response from me. I only selected brevity because I did not want to give offense to either Ray or AC. Longer posts can lead to misinterpretation or, as is usually the case, intentional misconstruing by third parties. That being said, I will still be making long posts but not because I'm showing off communication skills: Firstly, I do it because I can. I can type at a nice prodigious speed so typing what I think, in detail, doesn't take me very long at all. Not only do I type faster than some people talk but, given the examples in this community, I can type faster than some people think. Secondly, I'm fighting the devolution of the human species one long post at a time. This may strike you as something of a joke or troll but language is the basis of thought. The shorter we make our language the shorter we think. Far too many people have adopted this methodology to an extreme. Thus by exercising my own brain, with vocabulary, I expand my own intellect and those around me who care to join me. Far more mental exercise partners around here than "perception" would lead one to believe. I will confess that I do swing from verbose to parsimonious with my responses. When I'm fairly certain that linguistic or cultural biases will have minimal effect on my post I'll risk being a bit turgid. Otherwise I'll exercise a bit more bluntness for the sake of reaching people who do not speak my version of English very well... if they speak English well at all. Your jest was not nig gardly in humor at my expense so I wanted to make sure I gave you the fullness of my thought in my response to you. I hope that this response titillates your day.

My post was in no way a dig at your posting style. I'm actually praising your posting style to a certain extent. I was refering to the old IPO offering style, for example my old IPO offeringLinkage
Plenty filler. Little content. It might look impressive but it can be reduced into little more than 2-3 paragraphs.
Edit : It's not the use of obscure vocabulary, its the unneeded use of it.

I would say that before ebank I was a fairly easy to get along with individual, and I still am so long as you aren't an idiot. The difference now is I don't have as much patience for dealing with idiots as I used to.
As far as shortness, I'm far too busy IRL to be concerned with how people feel about this most important internet spaceship bank. In three weeks I'll be walking across a stage to accept my masters diploma, but during the next three weeks I've got to finish my research paper. This might not seem like a big deal to many of you very intelligent and well-educated individuals but as the first member of my family to earn a bachelors degree (and now a masters) AND having been educated in Oklahoma (HA!), I'm pretty excited.
I've also got a full-time job, 3 year old, stamp collection, ant farm, 2 dogs, and 3 moles on my back. I don't own any cowboy boots, I have ridden a horse but I do not own any, I don't own any cows, I don't swim down in the crick, I do not enjoy country music, and I don't have a mullet.
I'm also a republican who's registered as a democrat that tells everyone I'm an independent. Now that you know me, let's be friends. Tell me a little bit about yourself.

You know one of the most ego boosting moments for me was as you transformed from pre-eBank AC155 to eBank AC155... Athre would exclaim, "AC is starting to channel Shar!" Knowing your schedule and life like I do I was, myself, not trying to be critical. However perhaps a few less /fingers could not hurt either.

:( as I've never had anytihng do with kia corp's ebank dealings, then yes. Anyway, wasn't it some other corp inside kia alliance that caused problems, not kia corp??
seems a bit unreasonable to tar with such a broad brush stroke.

Guilt by association, I'm afraid. KIA Corp had direct connections with two defaults and one attempted theft, its directorship and membership were complicit in this fraud amounting to hundreds of billions. The time for jurisprudence is past, reparations are due and will be exacted by any means possible.

Does this legitimise all defaults by EBANK depositors that occured after Ricdic's theft then? Also Kwint's actions that you whined so heartily about? And, of course, it would seem to make you and all the EBANK directors legitimate targets for any depositors to exact 'reparations' from.

I don't understand this part of your post. Can you explain further? Anyone that defaulted before or after Ricdic ran off is being treated the same.
Originally by: RAW23 And, of course, it would seem to make you and all the EBANK directors legitimate targets for any depositors to exact 'reparations' from.
I don't think it really changes how some people are going to feel about us. At the same time, I don't think we care. The way I think a person could look at it is: every member in KIA benefited directly or indirectly from the theft, and some more than others. We have no way of really knowing if they were or were not directly involved or if they are actually alts of the individuals that knowingly and intentionally defaulted. After I pay out the liquidated funds I won't have anything so I guess if someone wants to steal nothing from me and call it 'reparations', have at it.
