Problem solved, but only by the newest update. Luckily I have other PCs to log in from. Thanks CCP for the speedy responses

Guys,
I've found a solution.
Today I had the problem too.
I tried to delete the BulkData folder... nothing.
I tried rebooting my machine... nothing.
Probably some Internet Temporary files caused the problem because once I run CCleaner.exe on my machine, it cleared the temporary files and the game launched on the first try.

just happened to me with two accounts after today's extended downtime. it's a shame ccp has never responded to this. running ccleaner did not fix it for me...

Same problem again and again... bulk data 5 blocked.

Same problem, god bless us all.
You have to love maintenance (funny thing, right before maintenance I logged in - only after maintenance I couldn't).
Happy to hear, I'm not alone.

Same problem here...was fine till before dt.
Had the same issues a few patches and just turned sound off. That seemed to do the trick but not this time. Reinstalling client.
Would it be to much to ask for CCP to post a reply

Hello everyone,
If you are having problems with downloading bulkdata, please try the following:
1. Download the zip file here: http://content.eveonline.com/data/bulkdata_251.zip
2. Replace the contents of the <EVE Install>\Bulkdata folder with the contents of this zip file
3. Run the EVE client
If it doesn't work, please let us know in this thread or via a petition.

I'm also stuck at 5/46 bulk data for a few days now. I think I would just use it as an excuse to say goodbye to EVE for good. So I don't have to keep paying for what I can not have. And stop wasting any more time and money. Thank you CCP. You've just given me a good reason to quit.

CCP Spitfire, is there any way we can get you to post a link for the BulkData files for the latest build? After the Incursion 1.0.1 patch, I get stuck at Acquiring Bulk Data 21/46.

I tried this, and all else advice from 2009 post to present day. My reply from CCP with their advice hasn't worked either and now they are quiet too?? Anyone else STILL having problems?? or have another avenue I can try ?
