Ok CCP I am completely baffled by this. Back when you first started we (my old corp out of beta) started espionage and leveled a strong corp. Soon after you put a message out that people doing such things would be banned. Now not only have you allowed that same espionage to take down a well known corp. but you allow someone to create an event that harasses hundreds of paying players whom just want to try and make a little isk to get ahead in the game without any sort of punishment and let alone allow them the soap box of your very own forums?

I strongly recommend you re-think this while you are allowing the (life sucking drab) of eve to continue their piracy you are bashing the greater of the population into leaving the game. I know of several beta testers that have left due to this kind of crap. Yes piracy is fun and part of the game, but contests that draw hundreds to harass others over the course of a month? That's paid time you are losing when others leave for that month. Check your rates I guarantee you have cancels when this person announces their little contest.

I say ban the lot of them and make eve better for people who actually appreciate it for what eve was truly meant to be instead of some outlet for enraged 10 year olds who have no morals and get off on manipulating a couple hundred ignorant fools into doing their dirty work.

The problem is not that I've been attacked the problem is I LIKE eve and want to see it grow, but with the contests like this which encourage jerks to harass new comers in high sec and the like making new players leave. You are hurting the economy of eve and the player base. I want to see this game last and that is the ONLY reason I even care to make a post. I am already on the defensive and welcoming players in high sec to fleet and podding any person I find assaulting miners for this silly little contest. (No this is not the character I do it on. I want it to be a surprise lol)

I fully understand your reasons for posting this, but a little advice goes a long way, enlightened saying(never argue with idiots, they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience), also they will lock you and swear at you, lets face it if they had no easy targets in high or low sec, they would have nothing to do, they are affraid of fighting each other, and they are jealous of industrialists with more money than them. most of the highest wallet amounts in eve are from industrialists, so they pick the easy way to gain money, steal it from others :)

All those in eve who think being an arcehole is cool, go ahead and keep thinking that, your doing everything that the Elite want you to do, keep on being ignorant of the real world and play your stupid little mind games, and don't worry people america will be the first to loose internet once the shet hits the fan. And american's are a fairly large part of the playerbase.

Most miners are bots nowadays, you should want them destroyed if you care so much about the newbies as you say. Sure industrialists might make the most money or whatnot but only the idiots lose their ships during hulkageddon its not like you didn't know it was coming to begin with, and if you're stupid enough to be out in your almost 1billion isk fitted hulk mining during the event you deserve to lose your ship stupidity kills.

I don't hate American's, but I do feel sorry for them. I actually don't hate anyone, but I do despise the things people do, and then justify it after with stupidity, oh and MOST miners are Macro's ? are they really , that's an over-simplification for your own convenience, it is called an excuse, I mine, am I a macro ? with all the industrial pilots in-game there are far more real pilots than macro's the industry pilots that you kill, most are not macro's, all the badgers transporting stuff from one place to another, they are not macro, the noctis kill, was he macro salvaging ? the transporter kills are they macro transporting ?, killing hulks and barges to reduce macro's is one thing, encompassing the scope of almost all industrial ships into the target list is a completely different thing.

Please keep justifying your actions. it makes you feel better and fuzzy inside :)

eeeeyyaaaahhhhh... I've seen industrial ship macro bots. There are areas where a constant stream of them run back and forth over and over again. I have also seen far more pilots running Macro's while mining, than not. It doesn't take much to prove it either. Just watch for a while. Pretty easy to figure out which one of the ships mining are macro's and which are not, the macros are on 23/7, the legit miners are (for the most part) not.
