Because if not, players with all level 5 learning skills (as myself) will after the patch learn slower, which is sad.
I invested so much time on my alt to train all learning skills to level 5 so i train faster and after the patch i'll train slower.
I would recommend giving out so much base attributes that players that now have all level 5 learning skills will train the same speed as they do now.
What do you think about this idea CCP ?
You may lose a little training speed but on the other hand you're going to end up with about 5 million skill points to invest immediately. Overall the small loss in training speed is amply compensated for. Also, you've reaped the benefit of faster training time that a set of 5/5 Learning skills confers. Overall, you're going to come out ahead for several years to come even with the small reduction in training speed.
I'm testing out the skill points on the test server. I happen to have a partially-trained Learning skill (Empathy) and I want to see that I get every one of the skill points that I had. Another one of my characters will end up with 10 million SP to spend there.
Arrr, CONCORD be a harsh mistress.

I've tried to dl sisi louncher but had somme problems.
My os is running in one different HD than my games, mabe i did something wrong with this, so i need somme help and please i'm not english native so i would like to ask you to explain clearly and simple all the steps.
(if some french/portuguese/spanish around here i would be happy)
Step1- dl sisi louncher (did it)
Can't run anything after this
My eve folder is in drive B: so how must i proceed? - make a full copy of my Eve folder and rename it eve_sisi?
Sorry but is not very clear for me so if someone can give me some help i will apreciate.

I've done this with my main.
Series of quick non-important skills -> Eidectic Memory L5
However, it occured to me that the combination that I cannot test that I haven't seen mentioned yet is
what happens if I have training a series of learning skills (and at the moment of the update, these are active) and then a combat skill when the mirror happens.
So it looks like this:
Learning skill
Learning skill <- Moment patch hits
Learning skill
Combat skill
Will the server automatically advance me to the Combat skill? Not very likely and I suspect that this is going to be a rare occurance, but i cannot test this on my characters and thought it should be tested.

It will advance you to your combat skill, yes.

Didn't have to set a skill running on this account, nor my alt as when I logged in, both accounts had long skills running, namely Warhead Upgrades V and Warfare Link Specialist V - both will finish way after Friday :)

really shouldn't need to do that, copy the directory \program files\ccp\eve to ..\evetest, then visit this site
http://www.eveonline.com/patches/patches.asp?s=singularity&test=&system=win
and download the patch, apply, but make sure you select evetest directory, once complete, create a new shortcut to evetest\eve and launch... the sisilauncher is better but I dont have a link...
